Karen Basura says we don't need an election because a Republican cannot win, and Xavier Basura is "already the governor". This is so revealing. This is what happens when you have one-party rule: these politicians take you for granted and don't even TRY to earn your vote. Becerra isn't even campaigning. If you democrats actually want your politicians to DO something for you, you need to hand them an L once in a while, to keep them honest so they actually TRY to earn your vote. More got done in LA in the few months that I was campaigning than in a decade or more, all because I put a little fear in this vile reptile. Now that there's no opposition in the race, that's over for LA, and voters will get nothing. It's just dumb and dumber. These scummy politicians feel entitled to your vote, they know you'll vote blue no matter who, and they can do the worst job imaginable, steal your tax dollars, let your cities rot and burn to the ground, knowing that you'll take it because of partisan allegiance and nice weather. The best thing for democrats in California is to hand a democrat just ONE loss, so 4 years from now they actually feel like they need to TRY and earn your vote. Then maybe you'll get a better crop of democrats. If you keep rewarding them with your vote, they'll keep getting worse and worse.

ABOLISH THE DMV! Californians can pay OVER $1,000 a year to register their cars—the highest rates in the country for the WORST roads. And we stand in line all day at the DMV just for the privilege. ENOUGH! I’ll cap vehicle registration at the base fee of $73 and SHUT DOWN this bloated, bureaucratic agency once and for all.

I turn 50 today. This is a message to my kids but I offer it to you in case any of it rings useful. I was born in Sri Lanka in 1976 in a country that, at the time, was about to enter a decades long civil war. My father was able to get stationed at the Sri Lankan High Commission in Canada for four years in the early 80s - when some of the fighting was most severe - and which from our vantage point in Canada gave us some respite from an otherwise omnipresent conflict. He came as a diplomat but then my father filed for refugee status after four years when his life was threatened by militants. We stayed in Canada as refugees. My dad never really landed on his feet and we grew up on welfare. My mom stepped up. She did an incredible thing and put our family on her back and kept marching forward. Sometimes the steps were very small but she always tried to keep moving forward. I worked at Burger King starting at 14, giving my paycheck to my mom and dad to support our family in the role that I was assigned - earn enough to pay for our bus passes because we couldn’t afford a car. I was a loser growing up. Some friends, some good memories but mostly forgettable and lonely. I wasn’t very studious but did get my act together in my final year and got into a great university. I immigrated to the US soon after graduating and found an opportunity. Things clicked and I have been traveling a path to find myself ever since. Only in America is this possible… I worked hard, followed the rules, paid my taxes and stayed in California out of loyalty for the opportunities it has given me despite its dysfunction. I found my wife here. Had my kids here. Found my tribe here. There have been some very hard times as well - deaths, divorce, financial pain, mistakes of omission and mistakes of commission. You can’t dwell on these things - they are weights that will pull you down if you’re not careful. Learn from them. Respect them. BUT MOVE ON. To think 50 years ago I could have ever gotten a chance to meet the people I’ve met and have had the experiences I’ve had would have been mind boggling to my parents. It’s mind boggling to me now. We forget often and try to convince others it’s not true but America truly is the best country in the world. Everything and anything is possible here. I can testify. Be grateful to be here. This is the only place that gives EVERYONE a chance to live a great adventure. The first 50 years have been that for me - an incredible adventure. Notice there is nothing here about accomplishments or money. Because it doesn’t matter and it won’t matter. You will be dust in less than 100 years from now and the decision to be remembered won’t be yours so stop sweating it. It’s not in your control. So what is in your control? Be kind. Have fun. Work on something meaningful to you. Find your tribe. Try to find perspective. Find an incredible partner. Have a bunch of kids. Live an adventure. Forgive your parents - they were doing the best they could even if that wasn’t what you deserved. I will do what I can to make my next 50 years a wild ride. You should too. I love you and thank you. ❤️ 🙏🏽🙏🏽

You told people to boycott restaurants in favor of illegal street vendors. Your regulations and taxes are crushing small business. You're a 36 year career politician with no clue how hard you've made it to actually run a small business in California, you ridiculous charlatan.
California’s small businesses are the backbone of our economy. We’re the 4th largest economy in the world because of the innovation and hard work of our entrepreneurs, small business owners, and workers. I’m proud to fight for the people who are building businesses, creating jobs, and living the California Dream.

It's Over. We just left the Federal Courthouse in Tampa. The California man who threatened the lives of my wife, my 4 children, and myself in explicit detail was just sentenced after pleading guilty: 11 months in federal prison. 2 years probation. Restraining order. Kate and I delivered victim statements to the court. The Judge did a profound job of reasoning through the sentencing and explaining the weight of rising political violence and its effect on our Constitutional freedoms. The Judge wanted this case to be a deterrence for others who would terrorize a family. That is why we’re sharing this today... George Isabell sent a letter to my house a week after Charlie was murdered, threatening to blow my head off in front of my family. This letter, compounded with a multitude of other physical threats at our doorstep had my wife terrified. Our kids were scared. We had to hire security. New cameras. Gates. We had police outside our house for months. My kids were forced to shelter inside out of fear for their safety. This is terrorism. This type of evil has no place in any civil society. Having a different opinion shouldn't put a target on your back. We thank the judge for ruling in favor of our God-given liberties. We thank you deeply for all the prayers and messages you've sent in support of our family. As a Christian, I encourage you all not to harbor hate. Choose forgiveness. We forgive this man. And we leave justice in the hands of righteous men to wield for the terror of evil men. "For the one in authority is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for rulers do not bear the sword for no reason." -- Romans 13

I just learned something about California auto insurance that I genuinely cannot believe is legal. In mid July, my legally parked car was hit by a driver carrying only a $3,000 property-damage limit. He had insurance through California’s Low Cost Auto Insurance Program (CLCA). Normal California drivers are required to carry at least $15,000 in property-damage liability. But under this state-created program, qualifying drivers can carry just $3,000 PER ACCIDENT in property-damage coverage. Not $3,000 per car. $3,000 TOTAL. In my case, there’s allegedly another damaged vehicle making a claim against the same tiny $3,000 pot. My damage alone is already estimated at more than $3,000. And here’s another part I didn’t know: California says qualifying drivers can participate regardless of immigration status, including drivers with AB 60 licenses (California driver’s license available to people who cannot provide proof of legal immigration status in the United States) provided they can prove they’re low-income. So California created a system where certain drivers can legally carry a fraction of the liability coverage normally required—and when they cause thousands of dollars in damage, the innocent people they hit can be left fighting over $3,000. I didn’t choose this insurance policy. I didn’t cause the accident. My car was PARKED. Yet I may be the one left paying for damage someone else caused. How does that make sense?

Never thought of a day when America will be looking towards India to secure our technology for their electoral process. Elections in India are conducted through EVMs and India also customise it for other nations. USA trusting Indian EVM is such a good news about our democracy.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The image depicts a fabricated tweet that does not exist on Trump's account; he referenced India's voter ID system and a conversation with CEC Gyanesh Kumar but made no mention of adopting or discussing Indian EVMs for US elections. hindustantimes.com/india-news/tru… m.thewire.in/article/world/… timesofindia.indiatimes.com/india/please-t…

Did you know that when Muslims start a war they call it jihad. When Muslims start losing they call it genocide. Funny how that works.

Ten families are suing Palo Alto Unified after their kids got sent on a “field trip” to a mosque. Girls were told to wear hijabs. Every student got handed a Quran to take home. Photos taken inside without parental consent. This wasn’t some optional cultural visit. It was baked into the school’s “Social Justice Pathway” program, where kids were literally taught that Islam “promotes social justice” more than other faiths. CAIR’s response? Called the lawsuit “misguided” and said it was all voluntary. Handing a teenager a religious text and putting a hijab on a teenage girl during school hours isn’t voluntary, it’s institutional pressure with extra steps. Public schools are supposed to be religiously neutral. This wasn’t neutral. This was indoctrination dressed up as “education.”

Just inspected the non-juror list for Allegheny County, PA. @erinkoper & I discovered 4,356 non-citizens, 1,300 persons with a language barrier, & 20,658 non-residents. Now, we are painstakingly going through the list to write them down. Only Americans should be voting in our elections.

Atentamente, Un Cristiano Muy Razonable

🚨HOLY COW🚨 THE MOST IMPORTANT VIDEO OF 2026 @JamesOKeefeIII did an undercover operation to expose Minnesota’s corrupt vouching system. According to law, 1 registered MN voter can vouch for up to 8 persons — those 8 people do NOT need ID. 👉“You are the ID,” an Election Day Worker told O’Keefe👈 Dressed in a niqab, @camhigby showed that a transgender Muslim woman can easily be vouched for as a faceless voter without ID. There is no record for persons being vouched for. There is no system in place to stop 1 registered MN voter from vouching for 8 persons at multiple precincts. There is nothing to stop the vouching system from being abused. This is a constitutional crisis. Pass the SAVE America Act! ‼️SEND THIS VIDEO TO EVERY LEGISLATOR YOU KNOW IN AMERICA‼️

Sharing as received.. Do read 📚 🤔 SUDHA MURTHY ON NARENDRA MODI. I don't say Modi is the best PM, but it's the first time, I watched the PM's speech other than that on 15th August. I don't say Modi is the best, but it's the first time I know my country is so well recognised outside India. I don't say Modi is the best PM, but it's the first time 20k Indians gathered for a politicians speech in a foreign land. I don't say Modi is the best but for the first time in a 46-minute fantastic speech in USA Parliament, the P.M. of India got 9 times standing ovation, 27 times affectionate clappings, out of which 1st clapping lasted for 3 minutes & 40 seconds, which is 1st time in USA's history. I don't say Modi is the best PM, but it's the first time every NRI is proud of him. I don't say Modi is the best PM, but it's the first time 80 countries are listening to an Indian PM. I don't say Modi is the best PM, but it's the first time when Pakistan is totally exposed and China is clueless. I don't say Modi is the best PM, but it's the first time the USA knows that if they need to continue as a superpower they need Indian support. I don't say Modi is the best PM, but it's the first time, The President of USA has realised that he is not the most famous politician. I don't say Modi is the best PM, but it's the first time INDIA seems well recognised as a leading country. I don't say Modi is the best PM, but it's the first time, The World Knows WHY WE ARE THE WORLDS LARGEST DEMOCRACY. I don't say Modi is the best PM, but it's the first time I know I AM A PROUD INDIAN!!....

🚨 Your tax dollars have become the new money-laundering scheme for these corrupt politicians. Governor Hochul has been taking donations from these daycare fraudsters in NYC who receive millions of your taxpayer dollars to operate “adult daycares” When I exposed the fraud in NYC, Governor Hochul and Mayor Mamdani went completely silent… maybe they didn’t want to offend their donors? 👀
