Former MIT professor David Sabatini won a $6 million jury verdict in a defamation and tortious interference case against a fellow MIT scientist who accused him of sexual coercion.
Sabatini’s lawsuit alleged Dr. Kristin Knouse orchestrated a deliberate campaign to have him removed from MIT and derail his career opportunities.
Knouse denied the allegations and countersued, but the jury rejected her claims.
In our interview, Sabatini said:
“…we have literally the messages where she is talking to people being interviewed and what you're going to say, then coordinating with her students, drafting emails to send to the Whitehead saying that no woman should be safe in the building with me…”

Update: Sandra is the implied victim in the 2021 post military psych notes but “his affair” was in all actuality a decade of grooming & abuse that included SA of a child 😡
Prosecutors are now focusing on Farwell’s military/post-military records, including a June 2021 disability-benefits application.
In a psychologist’s notes, Farwell is described as reporting that he was happy in his marriage but experienced symptoms affecting impulse control. The notes also document his account of a 2016/2017 affair, including his claim that the woman blackmailed him and later died by suicide in response to the situation.

No more trial exhibits/evidence will be released publicly in the Matthew Farwell trial. Traditionally, as trials are public, so are most exhibits. The Judge ruled this morning that no more exhibits may be posted online by either party until a verdict is rendered.
“I think institutions don’t care about due process,” Sabatini said. “They care about having a certain conclusion. And for whatever reason that one could discuss, at that time the conclusion was, ‘Get this guy out of here and make an example of him.’”

Absolutely on the statutory r@pe admission.. but text messages reviewed also revealed 1 week before Sandra’s death - Farwell went to her apartment and was given a key - at that visit he was looking in her closet and bathroom. She would be discovered deceased seated in front of that very closet 👀
The Commonwealth also had autopsy finding: fracture of hyoid (statically present in 0% of partial weight bearing hangings BUT present in up to 90% of mechanical strangulations)
The elevator footage of Matthew Farwell entering and leaving the apartment and that Sandra’s phone was never moved or in use after.
“Matt” Farwell was interviewed by Lt. Fanning re: the “suicide death” of Sandra on 2/7/21 when Sandra was discovered on 2/4/21 and Autopsy results were still pending.
The totality of the evidence was compiled, presented and completed ignored by MSP, and Norfolk DA Michael Morrissey who to this day refuses to acknowledge the factual manner of death of a young woman who was abused, groomed, trafficked and ultimately murdered under his watch.

I noted page 8 of the Stoughton Police IA investigation included the criminal admission in text message - that was exhibited without redaction in Federal Indictment of Matthew Farwell for the homicide death of Sandra Birchmore.
The question remains: If MSP, OCME, & Norfolk DA had access to the same evidence, why did it take the Feds @FBIBoston @DMAnews1 to charge Farwell & seek justice for #SandraBirchmore 🤔

Stoughton IA notes (heavily redacted) contained the admission text between CSA victim Sandra Birchmore & Monster “Matt” Farwell match the FBI affidavit. 🕵️♀️
IA confirmed “Matt” was put on PAID administrative leave 2/27/21 for 13 MONTHS until he resigned, effective 4/1/22 after refusal to sit for an interview re: SB death. He voluntarily de-certified from POST in March 2024 😡 We now know: Stoughton PD, Norfolk DA, POST, and MSP were ALL aware of Sandra being raped at age 15 on April 10, 2013 and of the pervasive pattern of sexual violence until her death (contained in texts)😩
McNamara claimed they were unable to “sustain” claim as victim was deceased- Once MSP Fanning found the forensic data Farwell should have been charged 🖕
