Top Tip - Recycle your pumpkin leftovers! 🎃 Most of your Halloween pumpkin can be turned into delicious treats and eaten - but any bits that can't be, (or are left out past their best for trick or treaters), can be recycled! ♻️ 🧙‍♂️ Turn uneaten pumpkin into fertiliser and energy with a little Halloween magic (called anaerobic digestion). 🕯 Make sure to remove any candles or wax before recycling, and check below for your district council's guidance on how to recycle any whole, carved pumpkins! 🎃 Exeter & East Devon - place your pumpkin in your food caddy or bagged, on top of it. 🎃 Torridge, North Devon & Mid Devon - pop your pumpkin in or next to your food caddy. 🎃 South Hams, West Devon & Torridge - please chop up and pop in your caddy. #TopTipTuesday #Pumpkin #Halloween

Looking to set up a Library of Things in your local community?🤝Or looking to add to your group's offering with some sought after equipment?🪚🧰 The Recycle Devon Reuse Fund was designed to seed and support schemes to increase the amount of reuse and improve involvement and awareness of reuse projects such as Repair Cafés, Libraries of Things and clothes swap events in East Devon, Exeter, Mid Devon, North Devon, South Hams, Teignbridge, Torridge, and West Devon. Round two of the 2026/27 fund is open for applications now! The closing date is Friday 27th November 2026. (Please note applicants can only apply once every 2 years).
