🧵 1/ People should not lose protections on their money just because the technology behind their banking app changes.

Some outstanding questions to answer: - Who would receive payouts on insurance? E.g. US residents only? How is this defined? - What triggers a payout on the insurance? And what set of circumstances make it valid - How would an insurance payout happen? Is there a snapshot of the blockchain that maps who would be paid out to? And would this require KYC on users of stablecoins? Or would the insurance just top up the issuer themselves? - Does the custody or self-custody situation of the user affect the payout?

Today we’re launching doxx.net, enabling Agentic Defined Networking for everyone. We raised $38M from @a16z, @AnimoVentures and Focal.vc. Create private networks for you and your AI agents, without a server in the middle. 38M+ threats blocked since December. Our first private-network call was a freedom call. Now it’s your turn.

In the next 10 years, identity will become reusable and finance will be accessible anywhere in one click, predicts our CEO, @SamiStart. "Reusable" here refers to the idea where an identity check on one platform can be ported to another. This creates a better and more coherent experience for users because they do not have to verify their identity from scratch everytime they use a new financial application. The stepping stone to this future is Transak's KYC Reliance and Auth Reliance products. KYC Reliance and Auth Reliance allow Transak to safely rely on the KYC checks and authentication performed by apps that use our infrastructure. As a result, apps integrate Transak can still own the KYC and authentication flows without users having to verify themselves again when using Transak within those apps. BlackRock is making one of the smartest moves in the stablecoin industry… by avoiding stablecoins entirely. 🧵

But every version of that future involves issuers holding compliant, liquid reserve assets. BlackRock doesn't need to predict the winner. They're building the product that every possible winner will need.

Watch how the disciplined players are entering the stablecoin space. It's at the bottom of the stack.

I just got back from Stablecon in DC. Three things stood out. The room was full of CEOs and decision makers. People were shipping stablecoin products this quarter and had come to do deals and find the pieces they were missing. Most of the conversation was about policy, regulation and infrastructure. Very little about technology, almost nothing about the price of crypto. That's a real change from the conferences I was going to a couple of years ago. We were discussing policy in the city where the policy actually gets made. It gave the week a bit of a historic feel. The photo is the Bureau of Engraving and Printing, where the government prints physical dollars in DC.
