**CRIME BRANCH, DELHI ARRESTS WANTED MOTHER-SON DUO IN DRUG SYNDICATE CASE**
WR-II/Crime Branch, Delhi Police, has arrested a wanted mother-son duo allegedly linked to an organised drug trafficking syndicate.
🔹 Both were wanted in an MCOCA case of PS Tilak Nagar, Delhi and an NDPS case of PS Khayala, Delhi.
🔹 Proceedings under Section 84 BNSS had been initiated by the courts against both accused.
🔹 The duo had allegedly been evading arrest despite being aware of the ongoing court proceedings.
🔹 Their husband/father, an accused in the MCOCA case, has already been charge-sheeted and is currently in judicial custody.
The arrests mark a significant step in the ongoing action against organised criminal syndicates and drug trafficking networks.

🚨 TIRTOL POLICE SEIZE LARGE QUANTITY OF ILLEGAL FIRECRACKERS
Jagatsinghpur District Police | Tirtol Police Station
Acting on credible intelligence, Tirtol Police conducted a search on 28.10.2026 at a furniture workshop near Jagannath Temple in Village Gangadharpur under Sailo GP, where firecrackers were allegedly being stored and sold without a valid licence or requisite authorization.
The search was conducted in the presence of the Executive Magistrate and independent witnesses. During the operation, police recovered and seized 40 cartons of firecrackers, comprising 30 large cartons and 10 small cartons, containing 169 items of various types, including sparklers, flower pots, rockets, bombs, chakkars, multi-colour shots, fountains and other firecrackers.
Following the seizure, an inventory list and sealing memo were prepared, and the furniture workshop was sealed in the presence of the Executive Magistrate.
The person allegedly involved, Sibuna @ Subashis Basantia, was found absconding from the spot.
In this connection, Tirtol P.S. Case No. 476, dated 28.10.2026, has been registered under Sections 287/288 of the BNS, read with Section 9-B(1)(a) of the Explosives Act, 1884, and Sections 3/4/5(a) of the Explosive Substances Act, 1908. Investigation is underway.
⚠️ Public Advisory: Citizens are advised not to store, sell or handle firecrackers without the requisite legal authorization. Strict legal action will be taken against violations.
