As a Virginian, I am deeply skeptical about whether selling our primary, state-regulated utility to an out-of-state company is good for the commonwealth. 📸 Joe Biden may be battling Stage 4 cancer, but you know what he STILL does?
He shows up.
He shows up to Mass every week, just like he did yesterday. He shows up for his family. And he still shows up for the country he has spent his entire life serving.
I’ve admired this man for decades for exactly that reason.
If there is one person in public service I would want my son to emulate when he grows up, it’s @JoeBiden.
He puts other people first. He loves this country deeply. And at his core, he is just an insanely good and decent man.
I’m incredibly grateful that life has given me opportunities over the years to spend time with him and see the man up close in a way most people never get to.
And unlike most politicians, there really isn’t a public Joe Biden and a private Joe Biden.
He’s just Joe.
The same guy whether the cameras are on or not.
And I don’t give a shit what anyone says. Joe Biden will always be my favorite president. I believe history is going to be very, very good to him in the years ahead.
And he deserves it.

After headlining a fundraiser for South Dakota Democrats on Friday, Joe Biden showed up in Philly to be honored for his decades of LGBTQ+ advocacy.
They could have invited Obama, Clinton, or any other “hot” political name.
They chose Joe Biden.
Why? Because they know the truth: no president has done more for LGBTQ+ Americans than Joe Biden.
They have his back because he’s always had theirs.
And to Jake Tapper’s shagrin, no wheelchair was in sight.
