Replying to @utdrobbo
Actually think players really suit this system. Kukonki & Munro who are both CB/FB hybrids both being able to drive into space & being able to defend wide channel. Armer playing CCB which hides his speed having to defend those channels whilst also allowing his passing to show.

Mentioned this to Ben on Fan Debate but it’s crazy how tough love works if you get the rub of the green, both Tel and Fernandes have received comments from RDZ, both took their chances and played well at the Bridge. These are the margins.
🚨 Mathys Tel has a staff of six working closely with him on a daily basis. - 2 individual coaches (one focusing on attacking play, the other on defending), - A Video analyst - A Fitness coach - A Personal chef - A Nutritionist Tel also does additional sessions with those coaches to ensure he’s staying sharp, even when he doesn’t get the opportunity to perform on a #THFC matchday. 💪 @EliasBurke

Manchester United are 14W 6D 2L when Kobbie Mainoo starts under Michael Carrick losing only to Newcastle (25/26) and controversially Man City (26/27). If the form was going to turn around at any point, it'd be now.

to think he’s been nursing this injury for over 4 months now & gets no grace because it’s hardly been documented/was still making MD squads. he started the season at 60-70% & further aggravated the groin area against city. best open play creator ITL despite everything, rooney should try harder with his fiction.
🚨 Exclusive: Marcus Rashford has returned to gym training at Manchester United as he continues his recovery from a persistent hip injury sustained during the World Cup. Rashford remains unavailable for selection due to the injury, but is continuing his rehabilitation at Carrington.

Totally embarassing from Rooney to call out Rashford for not ‘playing through the pain’. Does he not recall Rashford putting his own back on the line for almost 2 years straight for us? Oh you didn’t care then did you? Are players not allowed to be injured now? Or is it banned?
🔥 Wayne Rooney TEARS into Manchester United players: “NOT FIT TO WEAR THE SHIRT!” This is as critical as I’ve ever seen Rooney about his former club. He’s raging, and rightly so. Michael Carrick is a Manchester United legend and a close friend of Rooney’s, so this one clearly hits a little harder than usual. On Stick to United with @markgoldbridge, he went straight for the players who love the spotlight when things are good but disappear the second it gets tough, like Bruno, Martinez, Rashford and the rest: “Where’s Rashford now? Things get tough, where’s Rashford? You need to play through the pain barrier. You need to be ready, to give everything for the club, and they’re not doing that.” He didn’t stop there. After that abysmal performance against Bournemouth, Rooney said he was pleased when the fans stopped clapping Carrick off and turned their fury on the players: “I was really pleased when they switched from clapping Michael off the pitch, and then they’ve turned on them players. They’re not fit to wear that shirt at the minute. I don’t think they ever will be. The least you can do is work and show that it means something and that you care.” Rooney said the five-year-olds he coaches understand something these multi-millionaires don’t: You run. You chase. You fight for every ball. This squad can’t even manage the basics! Rooney finished by expressing frustration that the same players are doing it again to another manager, and will almost certainly get away with it: “Honestly, watching it’s just so annoying and frustrating and disappointing that these players are gonna get away with it again.” Ruthless from Rooney. He is speaking for the fans here. They know Carrick hasn’t been good enough, but he’s a club legend who cares deeply about Manchester United and is giving his all. The players have given up. They don’t even run, and that is unforgivable! The fans will back you no matter what if you give your best, but they will never accept what these players are doing. Right now these players are a disgrace to the shirt, to the badge, and to everything Manchester United is supposed to stand for.

Idk how that’s a red, not sure how you want a player to react when a geezer has deliberately gone in with imposing intent. The tackle locks Downman’s ankle in, could’ve fucked up, and Downman gave a little shove, rightly or wrongly, cause his ankle is locked in there
RED CARD for Max Dowman! 🟥

Coexisting truths: He & his staff’s quality of coaching, in all aspects, just isn’t at the level required but The club hung him out to dry from the moment they knew he’d bag them ucl last season. They’re cretins. They’re imbeciles. They’re an embarrassment. They’re responsible
🚨 Michael Carrick’s two-year contract with Manchester United is believed to include a break clause. [@alex_crook] #MUFC

Rashford actually started the season decently. Ipswich performance on & off the ball & Everton performance was actual wing play taking on his man. We haven’t had that from anyone since he was out the team. At least things were actually happening when he got the ball. Now we’ve just got to watch absolutely nothing.

This was the game that made me realize he was a genius. A winger that knows his opponent.

How the f*ck can you not know if the head coach is taking training or not TOMORROW?! What on earth were you doing for 8 hours today?! Absolute incompetence. Are we seriously trusting these people to choose the next person in charge?

Remember, these are the same people who PROMISED and SAID the won’t switch from a “Mourinho style to a Guardiola style”, they are the people who our sporting leadership are reporting to. Remember that. Ten Hag, Amorim, Carrick, … Remember that.
🚨🎙️ - Gary Neville CALLS OUT the Manchester United board after the loss: “It's 14 years now without a Premier League title. That will be another 5 or 10 before you know it because there are other clubs set up for success and Manchester United are NOT. “They are making poor decisions. From a business perspective, this is really damaging. It CANNOT just be the manager again. “There has got to be consequences ABOVE that. You can't keep letting the people pick the manager who keep getting it WRONG.”
