Every location in Mumbai needs one such big ground. This is where real sports culture is built and harnessed.
Not in the exotic, controlled environment - that is prevalent in posh gated communities.

Absolutely biased and misleading journalism by @timesofindia @mumbaimirror @TOIMumbai
Thousands of law-abiding residents and societies of Thakur Village have unitedly demanded removal of illegal hawkers — a fact backed by letters, protests, and official action.
Yet, a handful of individuals found roaming the streets are projected as the voice of the people?
Shameful whitewashing of truth.
This headline insults the genuine movement of citizens who fought for cleaner, safer, hawker-free roads after 20 years of struggle.
Stop peddling selective narratives.
The voice of Thakur Village is loud and clear: NO to illegal hawkers.

Proud to be part of a noble health initiative at Niramayah Mediclinic where our team actively participated in a free health check-up camp for the residents of Thakur Village 🙌💉
With the dedicated efforts of
🩺 Dr. Shabari Kudgoankar (MBBS, MD Medicine, CTCCM)
and
🩺 Dr. Krishanu Goswami (MBBS, DNB Medicine, DrNB Critical Care)
…this initiative made quality healthcare accessible and preventive care a priority.
Early detection saves lives — and this is just the beginning.
We are committed to building a healthier, stronger Thakur Village. 💪❤️🩹
Let’s continue to serve with purpose and compassion.

But not those that don't generate revenue legal or illegal 😜
Such abandoned vehicles could be potential ammunition for #Terrorist groups. Mumbai police shouldn't wait for ownership but scrap these w/o delay. HM, CoP to note @Dev_Fadnavis @CPMumbaiPolice

Residents of over a dozen housing societies in Kandivali’s @TVALMGuild have written to Mumbai North MP & Union Minister @PiyushGoyal, seeking urgent action against the rising encroachment by illegal hawkers.
Their letter by @DevangVDave, also a local resident flags worsening traffic, shrinking footpaths, and growing safety concerns — especially for women, children, and the elderly.
