Acting is tough... However, teaching is like putting on 6 improv shows a day, where the audience talks and constantly interrupts you to use the bathroom and asks unrelated questions, and the audience has to pass a test at the end to ensure that they were paying attention.

My husband was deployed repeatedly in Afghanistan and Iraq and cannot believe what I’ve been put through as a teacher in California.
Read one veteran’s account of trying to teach (in this case in Nevada).

WHY ARE TEACHERS LEAVING THE PROFESSION?

•Lack of support
•Class sizes
•They are worked to the bone
•Low salaries
•Little to no recognition
•Their time isn’t respected
•Better opportunities elsewhere

One of the key messages here is that #hilary is speeding up. Rush to completion today your preps in southern CA.
Hurricane #Hilary has sped up a bit, along with a slight shift eastward in its track. This results in Sunday morning through Sunday evening being the time frame of most impact, along with slightly weaker winds.
Stay tuned to @NHC_Pacific & other NWS accounts for updates! #CAwx
