Who Killed Dan Shagamu?
Ibrahim Khalil Dan Shagamu, a well-known Kano social media commentator, was killed at his residence in Gaida Quarters, Kumbotso Local Government Area. Police say the attack happened around 11:30p.m. on Monday, September 8, 2026, when the area's vigilante commander alerted them that attackers had broken into his home and assaulted him with sharp objects.
He was a familiar voice in northern Nigeria. With hundreds of thousands of followers on Facebook and TikTok, he was known for combative Hausa-language videos criticising the government on political and social issues, and had once been a reporter for a state-funded radio station. He was 54 and left six children.
His death came after weeks of warnings. In a video, he had appealed to the Kano State Government, the Emir of Kano and the police for help, alleging repeated harassment and death threats from neighbours, including children stoning him and damaging his television. His sister said he had stopped sleeping at home because he believed his life was in danger.
Police arrested two suspects and said efforts to find other accomplices were continuing. Police spokesman CSP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa said preliminary investigations had not linked the killing to his social media activity, pointing instead to envy and hatred among neighbours. That assessment is preliminary, and the suspects had not been charged.
Many people doubt that this is the full story. Some residents suspect sponsored thugs, some suspect religious extremists while others believe his commentary was the cause, since his videos attacked politicians, traditional rulers, rival religious groups and neighbours alike. Analysts noted that this made every group he criticised a potential suspect. After he was killed, he was also beheaded.
The pattern remains the same, if you dare go against the feudal social norm in the core North, you will be wasted.
This is why all the progressive elements have been silenced and crushed via threats or assassinations. Northern Nigeria is a big threat to the entire world because it is breeding millions of people that might wage war against the diversity of the world because religious fundamentalism and a medieval ideology of conquest and supremacist nationalism garbed in political Islamism.
We in Yorubaland are lucky for our freedom and people like Sarkinfoto who advocate for totalitarian Sharia law in our secular and democratic society must be isolated, reported and exposed.

In Delta South, the political positions so far show clear imbalance among the three major ethnic groups:
- Itsekiri has already produced a Governor of Delta State (Emmanuel Uduaghan, 2007–2015) but has not produced a Senator for Delta South in this democratic era.
- Ijaw has produced a Deputy Governor (Kingsley Otuaro, 2015–2023) and held the Delta South Senate seat for about 20 years (James Manager).
- Isoko has produced neither a Governor nor a Deputy Governor, but has produced Senators for Delta South — Stella Omu (1999–2003) at the start of the Fourth Republic, and the current senator Joel-Onowakpo Thomas (since 2023).
Yet the same Ijaw interests now want to produce the Governor in 2031 when power returns to Delta South. This is not fair. Why did the Ijaw take the Deputy Governor seat in 2015 if they wanted the governorship, when the Isoko had never produced either a Governor or Deputy Governor?
For justice and equality, the Isoko must produce the Governor of Delta State in 2031. The Itsekiri should take the Delta South Senate seat in 2031. That is how it is supposed to be under any genuine rotational arrangement among the three groups.
We had a rotation understanding in Delta South so that no one ethnic group would dominate. Taking the Deputy seat while already holding the Senate seat for decades, and now pushing for the governorship, while also seeking to control the political outcomes of the three Warri areas, shows a clear intention to hijack power rather than respect agreements, equity, or justice.
Isoko for Governor 2031. Itsekiri for Delta South Senate 2031. Anything else is not equity.

GEJ was anti Yoruba to the core in his political administration as president of Nigeria.
Apart from the political subjugation of the Yoruba people despite the fact that 6 Yorùbá speaking states voted for him overwhelmingly in 2011, he was a tool for Zikist expansionism in Yorùbáland.
A good example was what GEJ did after federal university of Oye Ekiti was created in Ekiti state. Just like Azikwe, he used federal might to impose an Igbo VC as the first Vice chancellor of that University. What happened next was not a surprise. The Igbo VC went back to his village to start packing his people from cleaners, gateman to secretaries into the academic and non academic staff of the university.
The Ekiti people had to go and cry to Fayose to help them from being turned into slaves in that university.
That's why I will continue to respect Fayose till today. That's another example of Groupnomics. Once they get political power or any form of power in your territory, they swing into action and start replacing the indigenous people with their own people. They don't show Mercy in their agenda.
The South South and the core North has mastered the act of brute force to prevent this madnessz in their own space and territory.
Ekiti people are the most educated people in Nigeria yet an Igbo VC used federal power during GEJ to oppress them right in their ancestral homeland. It was because of satanic Agenda like this that Ironsi enacted the unification decree where federal civil service was turned into a tool of domination and expansionism.
100 economically empowered settlers are far powerful than 100000 poor indigenous people.
Their desperation for power at the centre is for domination and expansionism not for the common good.
Who holds the power?
Who shapes tomorrow?
The actions and preparation of today determines the outcome of tomorrow

Take away the political control of Lagos out of the hands of Yoruba people, that is the end of Yoruba power structure in Nigeria and West Africa.
It is a complete decapitation and the Igbo nationalists from the days of Zik understand this.
Take London away from the English monarchy power, that’s the end of English power.
Take Edinburgh out of Scotland, that’s the end of Scottish nationalism.
It was the same Uzodinma who was backing Fubara to destroy the Ikweere power structure in Rivers in order to destroy the South South hegemony in Southern Nigeria politics and Wike had to go to war to survive.
That’s why Ijaw warlords like Tompolo and Dokubo stood with Wike because they knew Fubara had become an Igbo nationalist project.
Lagos state is why Yoruba race is not finished in Nigeria. I don’t think I will mince words anymore and I have to spell it out.
GRV project in Lagos is a war against the Yoruba civilisation, power and survival in Nigeria.
Fulanis did not build Kano but they hijacked it from the Hausa people and cloned themselves into it from within and destroyed the indigenous inhabitants.
The Turks did the same in Byzantine Constantinopole. This is what Zik and generation of Igbo nationalists have been plotting against Lagos since Nigeria’s existence.
There will never be another Lagos for the Yoruba people just the way there will never be another Constantinopole for the Greek speaking Byzantines.
This is not the fight of our useless and god forsaken rotten political elites who opened the doors for hordes who have never hidden their plan to destroy, replace and displace the Yoruba political control of that prime commercial estate in Africa.
Many of our elites are useless like the p in psychology. They are scared of intellectuals while they empower people who will eat like serfs under their table.
This is a fight for all Yoruba people throughout the world.
The protection of Lagos state from becoming an Igbo nationalist vassalage is a do or die for all Yorubas.

Dear Ibos,
The Constitution says you're free to work and live anywhere in the country, but it did not say the people must love you.
It is not my duty to love you. I can choose to hate you if I want. If you choose to live among people who hate you, then you need to stop complaining about hatred.
Tribalism, bigotry and hatred is a full-time job here. You must swallow all the shege we show you in peace. If you cannot swallow it, your next option is to relocate to where you're loved.
I am not doing any one Nigeria with you. I don't want to be united with you. I don't want to have anything to do with you. And I will show that to you at every chance I get.
You must either accept your fate or go to where you are loved.
