RECRUITS ‼️
Don’t let your ego get in the way of your recruiting process. Everybody wants to play at the highest level possible, and there is nothing wrong with having those aspirations. It’s important to understand that there is sometimes a difference between where you WANT to play and where you can REALISTICALLY play.
Go where you are WANTED ‼️

NAIA is great football.
JUCO is great football.
There are BALLERS at every level. Don’t let your ego make you overlook an opportunity somebody else is praying for every day

Recruiting can take over the whole household.
Athletes are balancing school, film and goals. Parents are sending emails, making early drives and turning family trips into campus visits.
Stay organized, communicate and protect time together. The athlete owns the process. Parents help them navigate it.

Your Hudl is your résumé.
Not what your trainer says.
Not what your dad says.
Not your follower count.
Not your graphics.
Film.

Fellas,
A college coach just followed you on X.
Most athletes follow back, feel good about it, and wait. The window closes. The coach moves on to the next athlete.
Here's what to do instead, right now, while the coach still has you on his mind.
DM him immediately and say this word for word:
"Coach Smith, thank you for the follow. I'm very interested in your program. Have you had a chance to watch my highlight video? [link to highlight video]"
That's the whole message. Four sentences and a link.
One of two things happens next. If he hasn't watched the tape, he will. If he has, your athlete just opened the door to the coach's feedback and the next step.
A follow is not a recruiting move. A follow-back is not a recruiting move. The DM is the recruiting move.
While other athletes collect coach follows like trophies, your athlete just turned his into a coach watching his film within 24 hours of finding him.
You’re welcome.

Production over potential: big games against great competition count for more than big numbers against weak ones.
