Holocaust survivor and writer Simon Wiesenthal announces that he is retiring after a 60-year career hunting Nazis. He is now 92 years old and will be 93 next month. The last Nazi he captured was Julius Veil, who was convicted this year of shooting seven Jewish prisoners. “I have survived them all,” says Wiesenthal in a press statement. “If there are any left, they’d be too old and weak to stand trial today.
