I agree with LT GEN Kellogg. Ukraine should destroy Russia’s diesel production infrastructure. Totally destroy it. Our President should complain to Putin about Russia bombing Ukrainian cities… not complain to Ukraine who is the victim and who is defending itself.
Kellogg turns against Trump. Former US special envoy for Ukraine, retired Lt. Gen. Keith Kellogg, says Ukraine should continue striking Russian oil refineries. “This is war. They are attacking correctly,” he said, backing Kyiv’s continued campaign against Russian refining infrastructure. #Ukraine

We need a President who is up to the task of leading the Free World.
"I think it's time for Ukraine to get a new president," President Trump said Saturday, slamming Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy for targeting Russian diesel refineries after Trump made a deal with Russian President Vladimir Putin to supply more than 300,000 tons of diesel. "He can do whatever he wants, but he can't do that because we have a world problem," Trump said. "And the problem is caused by the lack of refineries for diesel fuel... He'd better damn well stop."

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has the overwhelming support of the United States Congress, he has the overwhelming support of the American people, and he has the overwhelming support of the Ukrainian people. Russian illegally invaded Ukraine, a sovereign and freedom-loving nation, and Russia is squarely to blame for all damage and destruction, to both lives and treasure, that has resulted from Putin’s unprovoked attack. @ZelenskyyUa, you know that the United States Congress, and the American people, stand 100% behind you. The Ukrainian people are so blessed to have you leading them in these difficult times. We have your back, and we will stand with you until Ukrainian victory is achieved. 🇺🇸 🇺🇦

Scott Bessent, at his confirmation hearing in Jan/2025 to be Treasury Secretary: "the tragedy going on in Ukraine is one of the greatest tragedies of my adult life ... I believe that the sanctions [on Russia] were not fulsome enough. I believe that the previous administration was worried about raising US energy prices during an election season... if I'm confirmed and if President Trump requests ...I will be 100% on board for taking sanctions up." Mark Warner (D-VA): "I very much appreciate your willingness and I hope you will be an advocate for keeping those sanctions on and actually advancing them even further." rev.com/transcripts/scott-be…
Today, at President Trump’s direction, the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) is immediately issuing a temporary general license to allow the supply of Russian diesel to the global market.

Apologies Ukraine, apologies NATO, apologies free world. As an American, I once again apologize that we put a cruel, sociopathic madman in the White House who also happens to be a Russian asset. So he’s on Putin’s side. America apologizes. Most of America opposes him.

I’ve already agreed to be an original cosponsor. Congress must make a stand.
We will be introducing bipartisan legislation to block any and all purchases of Russian oil. It will be called the “Ronald Reagan Peace Through Strength Act.” It will be forced to the Floor via discharge and it will pass overwhelmingly. #PeaceThroughStrength

This is dark shit. Blaming Zelenskyy for world oil price rises when it's Trump's mindless Iran war that caused it.
Trump: Zelenskyy wants to make problems for the world and our farmers. He better damn well stop.

Ukraine has repeatedly agreed to ceasefire proposals, including a US-backed 30-day ceasefire in March 2025, Russia has refused. A few weeks ago, Congress overwhelmingly passed legislation to increase sanctions and tariffs on Russia. The President should be using those authorities instead of allowing Russia to export diesel, rake in revenues, and continue its catastrophic war in Ukraine. We can discuss Russia’s return to global energy markets once the war is over, but in the meantime, we need to cut off everything fueling it. apnews.com/article/trump-rus…
