i did it again and failed
tried to make progress on everything at once and barely moved anything forward
something @AlexHormozi said stuck with me:
"get really good at one thing instead of juggling ten"
but for me:
i canβt drop work, family or most of my commitments
but i can reduce friction, stop context switching and focus at one thing at a time
so hereβs my plan:
π marathon prep β zone 2 only for now
π₯ timelapses β same setup, every single time
π οΈ building β walklock first, then a scalable website redesign agency with cold outreach
less switching, more finishing, more progress at a time
if you see me chasing another shiny idea:
call me out
pls keep me accountable π

my wife completely redesigned my home office π₯Ή
but thereβs one thing ruining the whole vibe
that ugly ceiling light π
i hate it so much i barely even turn it on
now i want to make the room feel even cozier
looking for some lighting inspo π‘
warm indirect lighting, LED strips, panels, anything that gives it a modern, cozy vibe
iβm already thinking about adding an LED strip behind the wooden shelf with the model cars
bonus: it should make my walking + working timelapses look better in the dark
@stemonte @StefanRows you have banger office setups π₯
any lighting or setup recommendations?
what would you add to this room?
wifey is the best π₯Ή
yesterday i came home from work and barely recognized my home office
she completely redesigned it without me knowing a thing π€―
iβd been unhappy with the room for a while:
random gym equipment, office stuff everywhere, no real organization
so she took matters into her own hands
ποΈ new cabinets
πͺ΅ wooden shelf
π¨ wall painted in my favorite color:
british racing green
she even order our dads to build everything
and the best part was what she said:
βyou spend half your day in this room, it should be a place you loveβ
iβm still speechless π₯Ήβ€οΈ

Day 10 building while walking
They habit tried to die twice today
β midday timelapse failed
π© then the walking pad remote broke
So i vibe coded a walking pad remote for this 2nd building walk
Should i switch to a GoPro for filming?
(video quality at dark rooms is mad imo)

can't sleep anymore
logical result is to work
work even earlier as before
(as long as the toddler sleeps)

Day 8 building while walking
04:30AM
5,912 steps even before sun rises
now switching to bike for the next 10 km to work
how do you build movement into your day?
βwe donβt need a new website, we already have an agencyβ
thatβs what a potential client told me last week
but i've convinced him to show my work to him
i already rebuilt the landing page theyβre spending money on Google Ads for
not just to make it prettier (that obviously too) but a focus on increasing their conversion rate and turn more clicks into customers
called him again during my lunch break today
weβre meeting on thursday so i can show him the actual result π₯³
no deal yet, but iβm finally selling a potential outcome instead of just promising my work
would you build something upfront to win a client?

Day 7 building while walking
barely had 30 min to build today in morning break of 9-5
β¨achievement: this habit got me start walking during my main work too
first timelapse with my new action cam instead of my phone
how's the footage?
Timo π± retweeted
filming with my phone kept interrupting my work
Day 6 building while walking
7,397 steps
mounted an action cam so my phone stays free
what canβt you work without?

funny what gets you excited at 33
cycled 48.86 km to work and back today
but the number iβm happiest about is 13.4 secs
13.4 secs for running 100 m sprint
26.9 km/h on my own legs π«‘
the final discipline i needed for my German Gold Sports Badge π₯
between my 9β5, family and building SaaS, thereβs always something to do
felt pretty damn good to finish something that has nothing to do with a screen
ran 100 m for three times
my legs are absolutely fried now, lol

Day 5 building while walking
16,305 steps today
finally found my zero-friction setup:
Garmin in my pocket, no workout, no app, just step on and walk (everytime again)
the easier the habit starts, the easier it sticks
Whatβs your best βjust worksβ solution?

Day 4 building while walking
12,250 steps before the main job even starts
legs feel heavy today,
constant walking adds up, especially on the tendons
At what point does a good habit become too much?
