The sickening stories keeping coming in…😢😢😢 SHAME ON YOU, @StubHub. Imagine being a kid, a HUGE @Brewers fan, and finding out you’re going to see your team play in the WORLD SERIES! ⚾️💙💛 The excitement. The anticipation. The memories you’re already imagining making. Now imagine having that excitement ripped away because a company sold your 3 tickets that you bought, that they apparently can’t deliver. That’s exactly what we’re dealing with right now. We purchased THREE tickets to the Milwaukee Brewers World Series for Game 1 last Tuesday(13th) through StubHub. We selected our section, our row, paid for our tickets, and received our order confirmation. Everything was supposed to be set. Then suddenly, StubHub tells us they’re “searching for replacement options” because they can’t provide the tickets we purchased. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! How does a company accept someone’s hard earned money, confirm a purchase, and then turn around and say they can’t fulfill it?! And their solution? We can request a refund while they continue looking for tickets. THIS ISN’T ABOUT THE MONEY. It’s about the experience. It’s about the memories. It’s about the excitement of a kid, his dad, and grandpa, who thought they were going to watch their favorite baseball team play on the biggest stage in baseball. Look at the first picture. That’s the disappointment you’re creating, StubHub. A refund doesn’t replace that moment. And here’s what really bothers me… StubHub advertises a “FanProtect Guarantee” and tells customers their orders are “100% guaranteed.” Guaranteed WHAT, exactly?! Because from where we’re sitting, that guarantee doesn’t feel worth much when you can’t deliver the tickets you sold us. We did everything right. We purchased through a major ticket marketplace. We trusted the confirmation. We trusted the guarantee. Now it’s time for StubHub to make it right. We aren’t asking for anything extra. We want the three tickets we paid for, or comparable or better seats together, at no additional cost. Stubhub…DO BETTER. Please SHARE this. Not just for us, but for every fan who has trusted a ticket company with an experience that means so much more than the price of admission. ℹ️Brandon Barker

I mean, just an all-time TV segment. Making Chuck do Who He Play For multiple times in a row with the same players is a brilliant idea and I was legit crying laughing by the end, my god.

It’s past midnight here in Iowa and one of the players is showing us around the facilities. He could be out celebrating the big win, but instead he took the time to do this for some German tourists. Really appreciate it🙏

Yesterday kicked off Year 30 for @GaryDolphin. 🎙️ For three decades, Dolph has been a constant voice of Iowa Athletics, calling unforgettable moments, telling the stories of Hawkeye teams, and leaving his mark on generations of players, coaches and fans. A few familiar Hawkeye faces wanted to help us celebrate the milestone. Congrats on 30, Dolph! 🖤💛

One of my buddy’s sons skipped college and became an electrician at 18. He was told either college or military were his only two options. His parents weren’t exactly excited when he went to trade school. Actually they were a little embarrassed. Most of their friends’ kids were going off to universities. Their son was showing up to job sites at 6am. By 21 he was making $90k By 24 he had his master electrician license making over $120k At 27 he started taking his own jobs on the side for a total of $200k Last year at 29 his little “electrician business” did $1.8M with 4 vans. Funny how that works. His parents used to explain why he didn’t go to college. Now they tell everyone he owns an electrical company. We need more 18-year-olds to know this path exists. Day 229 tagging @mikeroweworks until more parents start bragging about trade school too. Consider to RT if you agree.

I’m actually pretty upset Apple allowed this. While the feature is cool, the technical functionality that enables it is not cool. If I was Tim Apple, OAI would be temporarily banned from the App Store until this is reversed, and here’s why: I use iMessage because it’s quantum encrypted, with server keys I can own. Local caches are on devices that are encrypted with my passwords, not apples keys. This makes it and computationally and legally impossible for anyone else to access chat history but the people I trust and directly communicated with. But *now* the copies of my messages from years ago on *anyones* laptop in what is *supposed* to be an encrypted-at-rest local cache only can now be fetched directly by chatgpt without my permission or even knowledge and stored and processed in plain text forever on openai / Microsoft servers unencrypted and requested by any government entity at a moments notice without my knowledge and openai/Microsoft legally have to provide that, in federally enforced total secrecy. And they’re never legally allowed to admit they do it. AND because of default chatgpt settings most people haven’t bothered to turn off, all those private texts can now be used for training and will end up in the weights of future models, so all future AI models will permanently know all of our private lives as a part of the weights, immortalized forever as training checkpoints. Total architecture abandonment and user trust betrayal on Apples part. This should be the most viral story of 2026 by 100x. The permanent end of private communication in the US.
Everyday conversations just got easier with the new Apple Messages plugin. Search messages, catch up on conversations, draft and send replies—all with ChatGPT on your Mac. Now available in ChatGPT Work and Codex on desktop.
