This compilation is awesome. Honestly made me respect Julie Hanks even more.

The LDS Church and its apologists have misrepresented the facts of this case against John Dehlin.
They claimed Tommy said he thought Mormon Stories was produced by the church and had brand confusion.
But Tommy only said he thought it was a faith building podcast. He never said anything about it being a church podcast.
This stuff happens over and over and is partly why I’ve lost all trust in the church and its apologists.
Please watch the whole show from RFM and Bill Reel and tell me, who is telling you the whole story? Jasmine (who pushed this false narrative) or Mormon Discussions?
And if the church is willing to bend the lines here and be dishonest about the facts, how can you still trust them as an organization?
Lying for the lord seems to be constant.

John Dehlin's "Mormon Stories" has picked up two allies in his trademark fight against the LDS Church. Two free speech groups, including the ACLU, have filed amicus briefs supporting his side in the federal lawsuit. sltrib.com/religion/2026/08/…
Recap of @WardRadioShow review of the debate between @LukeFHan and @emuse1955 :
Cardon starts the conversation by talking about Ethan’s looks and how handsome Luke is. Weird.
Then they start screaming and comparing Mormonism Unvailed to “Mein Kampf” lmao (Cardon loves to pretend Mormons are as persecuted as Jews)
They deny Joseph Smith died in a shootout (by definition, he did in fact die in a shootout)
They call Ethan a bigot and a liar (funny because Ward Radio lies at least a few times in each episode they make)
They whine and cry and scream some more.
They lie and claim that Doctor Hurlbut made up all the affidavits himself in Mormonism Unvailed (which were signed by those who wrote them) even though there is zero evidence for this claim and in fact evidence for the opposite.
@ThoughtfulSaint outright lied and said that Joseph was somewhat involved with folk magic with other teenagers, but only from ages 13-17 (Joseph was tried in court for selling his services claiming to be able to find buried treasure using a seer stone in a hat at age 19-20. AND he was working with adults, not teenagers)
They then talk about Ethan’s appearance again and try to say it’s okay to attack appearances because they have a strong intellectual argument against him so it’s fine, lol
Cardon again compares Mormonism Unvailed to “Mein Kampf” and implies Mormonism shouldn’t engage with anyone who reads books like that. (Again, lmao)
In a hilarious moment, Jacob slanders Ethan for just finding out about Dan Vogel recently. Cardon in response says he has no idea who Dan Vogel (LOL)
Cardon, Jacob and Luke compare Ethan to @CandaceOwens and then insinuate Ethan must have turrettes or another mental condition (always a great move to call someone crazy to discredit them)
Cardon starts screaming again about goats and demons
Luke falsely claims that Helen Kimball was the only wife of Joseph Smith who was opposed to polygamy when introduced to it (demonstratably and laughably false)
Cardon says he should be the one doing these debates. (I’m on my knees begging him to do this. Likely never will though. I’d be shocked. He does best in an echo chamber.)
Cardon then makes fun of Ethan for supposedly being on the autism spectrum. He then starts screaming some more.
Sprinkled through of course is more of Cardon drooling over Luke’s good looks (congrats on your weight loss. you look great of course but they made it weird.)
I turned it off after almost two hours of listening. I got bored. This podcast is unbearable, but it’s also like a train crash difficult to look away from.
Overall it was typical apologist slop. Continuously self sabotaging their own movement. The church’s growth rate has been slowly declining the last couple decades now. Some humility might do you well.
Tonight I'll Livestream with Ward Radio about the debate and the fallout

Steve Jobs on the most important job of a CEO
“The greatest people are self-managing. They don’t need to be managed. Once they know what to do, they’ll go figure out how to do it… What they need is a common vision, and that’s what leadership is. Leadership is having a vision, being able to articulate that so the people around you can understand it, and getting consensus on a common vision.”
Steve continues:
“We wanted people who were insanely great at what they did… and the neatest thing that happens when you get a core group ten great people is that it becomes self-policing as to who they let into that group. So I consider the most important job of someone like myself is recruiting.”
