wabi is the ai assistant you use together. it’s insanely proactive. it notices what would help your group, makes plans, keeps things moving, handles the boring stuff, and even builds little apps when they’re useful. less life admin. more life. a few things to try 👇
Wabi 2.0 is live! personal agents are one person, one chat. but the parts of life that matter run on more than one person Wabi is an agent you use together. you talk to it, it does stuff, builds the apps you need, and anyone can join the thread - your partner, your best friend, the preschool moms groupchat school changes pickup time → Wabi updates the family calendar, everyone sees it. a show you’d both love → Wabi finds a night that works, gets the tickets. the trip everyone keeps talking about → Wabi picks the dates, builds the itinerary, books it go start a thread with your people 👇

Eugenia Kuyda of @Wabi predicts that within a year, one of the biggest consumer AI platforms will be multiplayer, with real network effects: "Today most AI products are single player. And I would say that you could probably argue they don't have much of a moat. They don't necessarily have switching costs." "It was pretty easy to move between, say, Claude and ChatGPT, but at least they had some memory about me. With these single player agents, it's so easy to jump between them because all the context is in my Gmail." "I think in a year what we'll see is that one of the biggest consumer AI platforms will be multiplayer and will have network effects in it. Right now we just sort of agree that single player is the way to go for most AI products." "A year from now, I think we'll look back at it as more kind of the early innings, and the products that win  will have a lot of network effects and be focused on you talking to other people, not just AI." @ekuyda w/ @sophiadew on @MTSLive
Today, I’m excited to share that we’ve raised $55M in Series A funding at a $1.25B valuation, led by @IVP, with support from @a16z, @ForerunnerVC, and an incredible group of founders and investors including @Benioff, @tobi, @dickc, and @marissamayer. Everyone has an operating system for their phone. We’re building one for your life. Right now, life is scattered across apps, group chats, calendars, and tabs. You’re the one connecting the dots and keeping everyone on the same page. @wabi is a personal AI that helps you get your whole life organized. It brings your people, context, and apps together so you can coordinate plans, share the mental load, discover new things, and show up for each other. Because AI shouldn’t just help us get things done. It should help us do more of what we love, with the people we love. Join us 👇

eugenia kuyda is one of the most incredible consumer thinkers i know - she was early and right about AI companions, and she thinks deeply about what people actually want two bets in what she's building with @wabi.. - agents in human group chats need a new social contract. a dedicated app lets you set it with agents in the room from day one - personal agents need more than a chat interface. rich mini-apps give people a shared place to plan, play and get things done together very cool to see the personal agents space heat up with thoughtful bets in very different directions congrats @ekuyda & team!

most agents are tossing AI into group chats, which i'm not super bullish on i've been playing around with @wabi for a bit as a multi-player first approach what i've liked so far: 1/ proactive planning (caught stuff before i asked) It saw that I had my flight booked for winter break but didn't have the train booked from my stay to the airport, so it proactively spun up the suggestion in a UI widget to see the status of my travel planning not sure I always need a widget to shift the UI, but it's a unique approach and I appreciate seeing the dynamic UI 2/ shared planning I used it for general task delegation with my gf, which was a very cool experience in its ability to help delegate tasks, spin up a UI to showcase where things stand as a checklist (i really liked this dynamic UI) it could assign tasks as well based on previous context it had already gathered 3/ gets people into AI who don't know where to start I have friends who aren't into AI but i know they'd use it if they were part of it, so just adding them to a Wabi chat is a cool way to see their "aha" moment without requiring any user inertia to get going Multiplayer is still so early, excited to see what new innovation comes from Wabi and the general space as a whole

introducing chat permissions you choose what Wabi can access in each chat. enable location → find convenient spots for everyone add memory → so suggestions are relevant share calendar → automatically find the best time your group chat just got a brain. nobody has to overshare to make it useful.

Fun way I'm using @wabi ahead of @nycmarathon is sending it all the events before and after that I want to attend. What would have been screenshots of posts and a few emails now puts them all in one place 👍

so much of my mental chatter comes from open loops. little things i should do but don't have the time, energy, or patience for. appointments for me and my family returns, free trials i should cancel, subscriptions i want to remove follow-ups, scheduling, house maintenance stuff none of these things are hard, they’re just annoying. that's where i've found wabi to be so helpful, it closes these loops for me and often gets ahead of them so i never even have to think about it see what wabi can take off your plate 👉 wabi.ai/try/handle-it

Wabi 🤝 @Plaid managing money with your partner or friends just got easier. connect your bank account, talk to wabi, and understand your finances “help us cut down on our takeout spending” “set a $1000 savings goal for our family trip” “how can we save on our monthly spending?” “what subscriptions do we have that we should cut back or merge?” finally understand your money, together, and build apps that help.

planning a trip with mini apps is a 100x better experience than doing it over iMessage. @ekuyda and the team really cooked here 🔥

staying on top of everything school-related is finally easy! no more parsing emails that are too long or navigating school platforms that are impossibly outdated. now, @wabi automatically notices all school emails and updates the shared calendar i have with my wife. it also gives us a nice little summary on sundays to setup the week and makes us feel just a bit more on top of things. try it out for yourself 👉 wabi.ai/try/school-calendar

I think one of the biggest opportunities in AI right now is making it useful beyond just the individual. Most of our daily decisions involve other people. Planning a trip, organizing an event, working on a project or even deciding where to eat with friends. Yet most AI tools are still designed around one person asking questions and getting answers. What makes @wabi interesting is the idea of bringing AI directly into those shared experiences. Instead of everyone doing their own research and bringing back different answers, the whole group can work with the same AI, compare options and move towards a decision together. I think this is an important direction for AI. The real value is not just in how smart a model becomes, but in how well it fits into the way people already live, work and interact with each other. AI should not only help us work faster alone. It should also make collaboration easier.
I've always felt like AI is mostly something we use on our own. But most things I do involve other people, whether it's planning a trip with friends, figuring out dates, or just organizing something together. That's what caught my attention about @wabi. Instead of everyone using AI separately, you can actually use it together in one group chat. I feel like this is where AI should be heading. Less talking to bots alone and more getting things done together.

I share a dog with @omooretweets, and coordination can be tough between two houses. Luckily, we now have a shared @wabi thread that manages everything - her food deliveries, vet info, and even grooming. It can even search for + book a new appt using context from past ones 👇

will look back at single player text only AI as the terminal era of AI interfaces
Wabi CEO @ekuyda predicts the next big consumer AI platform will be multiplayer, not another personal AI agent: "Today most AI products are single player, and you could argue they don’t have much of a moat. They don’t have switching costs. It was pretty easy to move between Claude and ChatGPT, but at least they had some memory about me." "With these single player agents, it’s so easy to jump between them because all the context is in my Gmail." "A year from now we’ll look back at it as the early innings, and the products that will win will have network effects and will be focused on you talking to other people, not just AI." @wabi
