A growing list of project announcements does not always translate into a rising share price, and @MkangoResources (AIM/TSXV #MKA) provides a timely example. The shares have touched a 52-week low of 24p, although they recovered to close at 34.74p up 10.29% on 30th October.
That leaves investors with a question worth examining: has the market become too cautious about the opportunity, or is it waiting for clearer evidence of how the next stage will be funded?

Great work by @Share_Talk on summarising #MKA’s ambitious HyProMag USA expansion plan.
With US EXIM interest, two banks doing DD, progress across HyProMag’s UK and Germany operation combined with #MKAR’s proposed US listing, it’s an exciting time for both #MKA and its shareholders.

🚨 #FCM — THE NEXT #GGP? IS THE MARKET MISSING A POTENTIAL MULTI-BAGGER?
Greatland Gold spent years in exploration before Havieron changed everything.
Now look @FirstClassMetal 👀
🥇 SUNBEAM: THE BIG DISCOVERY QUESTION
FCM recently reported an extraordinary outcrop grab sample of >30,000 g/t gold, around 1.1km along strike from the historic Roy shafts.
Drilling at Roy has also delivered bonanza-grade gold, with mineralisation extending across ~300m of strike and remaining open along strike and at depth.
One sample doesn’t prove an economic deposit. But what if systematic drilling starts demonstrating a much larger gold system?
That’s the exploration upside investors are watching.
💰 KERRS: A POTENTIAL FINANCIAL GAME-CHANGER
FCM owns 100% of the Kerrs Gold Project, with a historical inferred resource of ~386,465oz.
The #nGRND agreement could fundamentally change how the market values #FCM.
✅ US$160,000 advance deposit received.
✅ Potential indicative consideration of approximately US$10.64m for the initial 77,293 eligible ounces, subject to the agreement’s conditions.
✅ FCM retains ownership of the underlying mineral claims and future exploration upside.
This is potentially transformational because successful monetisation could unlock funding without selling the entire project or relying solely on repeated equity raises.
Important distinction: the US$10.64m is potential consideration, NOT cash already received.
📈 THE KERRS REVALUATION ANGLE
The historical resource dates back to 2011.
A reassessment could change how investors view the asset, particularly in today’s gold-price environment. Any increase in resource size or confidence would need to be established through appropriate technical work.
If Kerrs delivers value while Sunbeam develops into a substantial discovery, FCM could have TWO powerful sources of upside.
🏦 CASH, FUNDING & CATALYSTS
FCM reported £1.17m cash at 30 June 2026, following its £1m June placing, with no outstanding borrowings reported at that date.
It has also secured Ontario Junior Exploration Program support for a fourth consecutive year.
Potential nGRND proceeds could provide further non-dilutive funding if the relevant conditions are satisfied and payments are received.
youtu.be/QGaoZBv_lto?si…
@nGRND_io @Brand_UK @lisagshort
That could mean more exploration, more drilling and more opportunities to establish the true scale of its assets.
🔥 WHY THE GREATLAND COMPARISON MATTERS
Greatland’s Havieron discovery transformed its investment story.
FCM is at a similar stage with all the potential for a change in market perception when the geology delivers.
Think about the combination:
🥇 A developing gold discovery at Sunbeam/Roy.
⛏️ A historical ~386,465oz resource at Kerrs.
💰 A potential multimillion-dollar monetisation agreement.
📈 A possible Kerrs resource revaluation.
🏦 Existing cash and potential additional non-dilutive funding.
🚀 Multiple exploration and corporate catalysts.
🎯 COULD $FCM REACH 20p?
That’s the bull-case scenario worth examining.
Using 424.3m shares as the June 2026 baseline, 20p implies an equity value of approximately £84.9m, before subsequent share issues and dilution.
It isn’t guaranteed, and it would require the market to recognise significant value in FCM’s assets and future potential.
But if Sunbeam establishes scale, Kerrs delivers value and nGRND monetisation funds further work, could the current valuation look very different in hindsight?
That’s the opportunity investors need to assess.
The market doesn’t wait for every exploration company to become a proven producer before revaluing it. Sometimes the biggest moves happen when evidence begins to change the story.
FCM for me has all the potential for the next Greatland Gold. Trust me I was in #GGP at the beginning, the upside here at #FCM is transformational.

That’s why I’m heavily invested👀

@FirstClassMetal (LON #FCM) Drilling planned to advance exploration of the Pettigrew trend, with a drill rig expected to be mobilised to site around the end of October to commence a drilling programme. @MarcFCMetals @JamesKnowlesFCM
Chris Copper consulting geologist to #FCM stated "This is epic. Pretty rare to see grabs of this type over 300m. Seriously a company maker. Last time I saw VG like this was a long time ago."
A local contractor has been engaged to establish access to the visible gold zone and strip vegetation and overburden, with the aim of exposing continuous bedrock for subsequent washing, geological mapping and systematic channel sampling.
The discovery of this extensive gold anomaly more than one kilometre along strike from Roy strengthens the exploration potential of both the intervening ground and the wider Roy trend. Future prospecting will extend northeast along the soil and VLF survey grid, and southwest towards the Roy drilling area.
The success of this exploration approach also supports further investigation of the Pettigrew and Sunbeam trends, where similar targeting methods may identify additional mineralised zones.

ACFMarketWrap: A 12.6% plunge in $GOOG is shaking Wall Street's AI trade, even as the US economy powers ahead and London's energy giants push higher - US equities retreated Thursday as disappointing hyperscaler earnings reignited concerns over whether the AI spending boom can deliver the returns investors expect.
The S&P 500 -0.5%, Nasdaq -1.4% and Dow lost 310 points, with communication services and technology leading the decline. $GOOG suffered a sharp sell-off after missing earnings and revenue expectations, rattling confidence in AI-related valuations. Investors also turned cautious ahead of after-hours results from $AMZN and $INTC, with the stocks -3.1% and -2.2%, respectively.
Industrial heavyweight $CAT tumbled nearly 12% after forecasting only moderate 4Q26 sales growth, adding to the pressure on broader sentiment. Healthcare provided a powerful counterweight: $LLY surged 7.3% after raising its revenue outlook on strong demand for weight-loss treatments, while $MRK gained 3.3% following an upgrade to its guidance.
Meanwhile, resilient cloud sales offered support to $MSFT, although the broader technology sector remained under pressure. Fresh economic data complicated the Fed's outlook, with US GDP expanding a stronger-than-expected 3.4% in 3Q26 while September PCE inflation accelerated, reinforcing concerns that interest rates could remain elevated.
Mag 7 mixed: $GOOG -12.6%, $NVDA -0.87%, $MSFT -1.27%, $AMZN -3.36%, $TSLA +0.18%, $META +2.95%, $AAPL +1.74%.
London bucked Wall Street's weakness, with the FTSE 100 edging higher for a second consecutive session as energy, defence and pharmaceutical stocks offset sharp losses elsewhere. $SHEL.L +1.7% after unveiling a $5bn 4Q26 share buyback, up from $3bn previously, supported by stronger refining profitability and higher earnings amid energy-market disruptions linked to the Iran war and Russia-Ukraine conflict. $BP.L +0.7%, while $AZN.L +>2% ahead of its results. Defence stocks also advanced, with $BA.L + ~3% and $RR.L +1.7%.
However, consumer healthcare group $HLN plunged 15% after cutting its full-year revenue outlook despite announcing plans for up to £500m in share repurchases. $LLOY ->5% despite beating 3Q26 profit estimates, as unchanged guidance disappointed investors. The bank reported net interest income of £3.8bn, up 10% y/y, but the stronger figures failed to prevent the sell-off.
