Yesterday we stood up at the White House asking President Biden to keep his promise and stop the bombs. I spoke about how as a Jewish woman and as #DemocratsForHumanRights our safety is interlinked. Muslims, Jews and Christians are all safer together.

“We’ve built software to track Wikipedia editors,” says the head of the ADL. We have an investigation publishing soon about pro-Israel manipulation of Wikipedia, and he just blurts it out
ADL CEO Jonathan Greenblatt: "I have 45 people at ADL—full-time analysts—45 full-time intelligence analysts tracking the bad guys across social media, across AI, across video games, podcasts, crypto, you name it." "[We've built] software to track Wikipedia [editors]…"

Not a single uncommitted leader endorsed a Republican, either.
If one more person compares the situation in MI with the Uncommitted movement I'm gonna lose it. Uncommitted was a primary play. By this point in the cycle the Uncommitted leaders were literally running anti-Trump ads. Stop twisting history to justify your own shitty behavior.

In Michigan w/ @AbdulElSayed. It’s the most important election in my lifetime, raising so many critical issues: dark money can be beaten, the progressive agenda can win, anti-Muslim hate can be defeated, & the right to criticize Israel w/out fear of being smeared.

God, I love this man. What a legend.
Fox: Why are you here this morning? Trump rally attendee: Well, in the late 70s, I was a little too young to go to South America for the Jonestown Massacre. But this is as close as I'll ever get, so that's why I'm here. There's nothing like seeing a cult right up front.

Thank you to a former Trump official for saying what a lot of centrist Democrats refuse to. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👇🏽👇🏽👇🏽
Pretty rich for Haley Stevens to lecture Abdul El-Sayed about “hate” over an ad his campaign has explicitly disavowed while Mike Rogers is running one of the most racist and bigoted campaigns I’ve ever seen. The hate in this race is being directed at Abdul, not coming from him.

Vivek Ramaswamy's attack ad featuring opponent Amy Acton's estranged mother could cost him the Ohio governor's race, according to new internal polling. The private poll was commissioned by a Republican group, and found Acton leading Ramaswamy by 8 points — up from a 2-point lead earlier this month. axios.com/2026/10/28/gop-pol…

How come Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama can say it, but Haley Stevens can't?
Hillary Clinton: “His surrogates and a lot of the independent expenditure media is really fear-mongering against El-Sayed as a Muslim, trying to link him to the Muslim Brotherhood, Trump is doing that. I’m just tired of that and I hope people are tired of that. Judge somebody on who they are, what they stand for, what they produce. This is not about woke, this is about broke. If you can’t win on affordability, if you are bankrupting the country and enriching yourself personally, try to divert attention”

The Joint List supports the creation of a Palestinian state alongside Israel in accordance with international law, which is what Israel’s DC advocates long demanded. It’s quite telling that Satloff now calls this is “an alternative to the fundamental idea of the state.”
A little humility, please. Choosing to govern with the support of #Israel's two #Arab parties may seem like a straightforward political calculus 6,000 miles away but let's not forget that the Joint List, by far the largest of the two, ran on a platform in which it described itself as "a genuine democratic alternative to the racist #Zionist consensus" -- meaning not just an alternative to @netanyahu but to the fundamental idea of the state. The @gadi_eisenkot-led coalition may ultimately decide to rely on their votes to oust the current government but let's not insult people who have devoted their lives to protecting Israel to suggest this is an easy or simple decision. And if they decide against that path, they may have a very good reason. For details: jointlist.org.il/en/platform…

This is obviously a bad faith question, Israel has been the singular obsession of Stephens’ charmed career as a conservative diversity hire, but if the interior minister of Japan regularly cranked out videos celebrating his own cruelty and racism I think we’d know their name.
NYT's Bret Stephens whines that Democrats know "Smotrich and Ben-Gvir" but not "the interior minister of Japan." Their "obsession" with Israel drives him "crazy." (Being politically informed on Israel is now anti-Semitic.)

“The Matthew Yglesias of 1963 would have been telling [JFK and LBJ] don’t touch this civil rights bill. It’s unpopular.” I thought this was one of the more fascinating and important exchanges with @mattyglesias, where I challenged him on how far politicians should defer to polls on huge moral issues, and he pushed back on my analogy. Mehdi conflates bill approval with protest approval. "This civil rights bill" was popular in '63. It had +16 approval (54-38) by Aug. '63 & +30 (61-31) in Jan. '64 before its June passage. Desegregation was generally popular w/ >+30 support for SCOTUS anti-segregation rulings news.gallup.com/poll/3427/most…

Some of the sharpest analyses of Israeli politics come from Daniel Levy. This should be subtitled in every language. Short, clear, impeccable.
Daniel Levy | Former Israeli Peace Negotiator | US/Middle East Project (@USMEP): Netanyahu did not alone commit genocide for 3 years. He did not alone maintain decades of illegal occupation. It was system-wide. Eisenkot was part of it & served in the military. He sat in the emergency unity security cabinet after Oct. 7 - during the genocide. Israeli generals, soldiers & judges - all part of a system-wide mobilization. Dissenting voices existed but remained marginal.

My favorite part of this tweet from this woman claiming to be so upset and shocked over alleged antisemitism is that she uses the phrase ‘Islamic-Nazi’ in her post. Yeah she’s totally against religious bigotry. Clearly.
I’m sick to my stomach. I honestly never thought that I would witness such an antisemitic piece of American political propaganda in my lifetime. This is Nazi-Islamic antisemitism delivered against the Jewish collective in 2026 in the United States. By endorsing Abdel El-Sayed, the Democratic Party has crossed a threshold that signals a sickening decay of dangerous proportions to the American Jewish community. If this ad isn’t pulled with an explicit apology to the Jewish community, I will say Kaddish over my country of birth. I’m disgusted by what was once a great country. Voting Democratic is now like voting for the Nazi party. Anyone who rationalizes this ad as anything other than an Islamic-Nazi propaganda piece that scapegoats the collective Jew for cheap political currency has succumbed to antizionist brainwashing.

In retrospect it was a massive blunder for these billionaires to be doing media appearances and trying to be influencers. Now we don’t have to use vague words like “the 1%”, we can just say their names

The Bernie team tried to get this into the Democratic platform in 2016, the Clinton team blocked it. We tried again in 2020, the Biden team blocked it. Glad folks are coming around but it’s absurd that it’s taken this long on what should be a noncontroversial point of fact.
One of many critical points in Jon Finer's excellent post-elections Israel policy agenda for Democrats: "A new approach should also start from the principle that U.S. policy will distinguish occupied territory and Israel proper." nytimes.com/2026/10/23/opini…

I’ve grown pretty tired of the Yglesias conversation but I will say his exchange here does demonstrate a clearly ridiculous theory of change. Coming out of 2024 Dems were primarily criticized for being ineffectual, the idea that voters would stick with them if they stayed silent as people were being extrajudicially kidnapped and set off to foreign prisons is just stupid
Me: "Even if it was unpopular, are you saying the Democratic Party should not speak out against the president sending migrants who have committed no crimes to be tortured in a foreign gulag?" @mattyglesias: "Yeah." Me: "Just stay silent?" Yglesias: "I think that sometimes, if you want to help people... you gotta win first." Me: "They might be dead in three years time, by the time you win." Despite all the arguments on this hellsite over the exact number of his Piker tweets, this was the part of my interview with Matthew Yglesias that really stood out to me. I was actually stunned by this response. Shouldn't politics also stand for something more than triangulation, polling and 4-D chess strategizing? Full interview: zeteo.com/p/matt-yglesias-me…
