Like i said you peoples problem with santos is he wasn’t the first choice. Here anticipates a pass to Palmer and blocked the passing lane. Look at both your CBs letting Rodgers walk to a 1v1

"Slavery was universal" typical deflection dressed as honesty. Transatlantic chattel slavery was a distinct system, racialised, capitalist, with children as inheritable property and African life treated as expendable.
Slavery was an evil in which people from every continent and region participated. We should be honest about the whole history, not select the parts that are politically convenient today, especially given Britain's leading role in ending the transatlantic slave trade. If Caribbean countries are asking Britain for a formal apology for Britain’s role in the transatlantic slave trade, will they also be asking the same of the descendants of African kingdoms, rulers and merchants who captured, sold and profited from the trade? On demands for reparations, whether through cash or debt relief, we have been down this track before. Twenty-five years ago, Jubilee 2000, Drop the Debt and Make Poverty History argued that cancelling the debts of poorer countries would give them a fresh start. More than $100 billion of debt was eventually written off, but many of those countries have since built up even bigger debts. Labour are already spending too much on Britain's welfare state, now is not the time for Andy Burnham to be providing global welfare. There is no reason British taxpayers today should be held financially responsible for things that happened generations before any of us were born. And I have even less patience for political elites in commonwealth countries who don’t know how to make their own citizens prosperous now looking for another opportunity to blame Britain. As Prime Minister, Andy Burnham should be Britain’s greatest defender. Instead, he is writing articles saying we need to confront our history (as if we haven't done enough of that) and considering another formal historical apology. Tony Blair already expressed Britain’s deep sorrow and regret for our role in the slave trade nearly twenty years ago. There is no need to do so again. This is all another navel-gazing distraction. The Commonwealth should be looking forward, not endlessly backwards. That means economic partnerships to make us all richer and deeper military and security cooperation against common threats. If every Commonwealth summit becomes an exercise in presenting Britain with demands for cash then we need to start asking if it is worth the effort.

Imagine Real Madrid being almost in the relegation zone with just one league win by November and they sing the manager and players off 😂😂

United right now are a result of a culture of no consequence. Players can have bad games and they know their spot is safe, board can hide behind managers, everyone can play to the gallery. The entire thing stinks and frankly deserves a relegation.

He was never a good defender. He has been punished in the air since his very first game for United against Brighton. (I know because I wrote about it that day.) He cares and is passionate and intense, but that can only take you so far as a 5 foot 8 CB in the Premier League.
Lisandro legitimately being really good in 22-23 in hindsight might've just been like a fever dream lol

Worst part about this club is we could go into the January window in the relegation zone and will look for loans and cheap deals only. If City, Liverpool or Chelsea were in our situation they be getting ready to drop £150m+ in January!

Who picked Maguire and Martinez?
Blame 100% goes on players and ownership for not signing defenders today. Cant blame Carrick for us missing 9 chances, Licha letting Rogers run through, give away a penalty and get sent off!!

It’s an inside job 😂
i'm told ineos were underprepared, as well as financial reasons being the main reasons as to why they decided to keep carrick. literally nearly every staff expected carrick to go after bournemouth. it's so bad that it's laughable

Of all the things that irritate me about Man United, what really grates is the stupidity and arrogance of Ineos to not even understand or appreciate what Carrick did for them last season. It is the only time the club has enjoyed peace and quiet in 4/5 years and a lot of that was down to Carrick's measured temperament and complete lack of ego in coming into the club, setting aside his own ideas and just doing the basics that needed doing. It is the only time the Ineos losers and syciphants have had the confidence to show their faces in public (wilcox did podcasts!) But he's an inexperienced guy and needed a solid support system. No addition to his backroom staff and transfers purely to save money. A stupid lackadaisical preseason in Dublin. And now we are back here again. I despise these people.
