Trump will REMAIN President, but what he CAN'T do now:
1. *Can't pass any law:*
Needs Parliament. With Democrats at 90, all his bills will be blocked.
2. *Can't get money:*
Parliament controls the budget. No funding for his MAGA projects, Wall etc.
3. *Faces Impeachment Risk:* Democrats can start investigations and even move impeachment.
4. *Can't appoint Judges/Officials freely:* Senate will block his picks.
5. *Can't do big foreign deals:*
Trade deals, war funding needs Parliament nod.
In short: He will stay in the White House, sign Executive Orders, but Parliament and Courts can overturn them.
He becomes a *Lame Duck President* - President in name, powerless in reality.

Brandโs own words and behaviour may well have damaged his credibility, particularly under cross examination. However, thereโs a distinction between being a womaniser with a questionable past and being guilty of sexual assault. His autobiography may paint an unflattering picture, but it isnโt proof of the alleged offences. This piece is clearly designed to persuade readers that Brand is guilty, when determining guilt is the responsibility of the jury, not social media commentators. Ultimately, the jury must assess the credibility of the complainants, the evidence supporting their allegations and Brandโs defence. Iโm not defending him, but justice should be determined by the evidence, not his character, public persona or public opinion.
Rest at peace gorgeous woman, thankyou for the musicโค๏ธ๐

A year ago today, I wrote the note every family dreads.
I apologised, got on a train, and travelled hundreds of miles to end my life.
I truly believed my children would be better off without me. Thatโs why I went so far away I couldnโt bear the thought of someone I loved finding me.
Two strangers saved my life.
365 days later, Iโm still here.
Iโm not going to pretend the suicidal thoughts have disappeared they havenโt. But Iโve learned to take life one day at a time.
If youโre reading this and youโre where I was a year ago, please hold on. Your story isnโt over yet. โค๏ธ

No one will ever look at the Prime Minister quite the way Sebastian did. Farewell to the brilliant Anthony Head, who gave us one of British comedyโs most iconic double-acts.

This one hits hard. I spent a small part of my career as a medical scientist working in oncology clinics with Florida Cancer Specialists, and Iโll tell you something that surprised me coming into that work.
I expected to see broken people. Young patients facing terminal diagnoses, families falling apart, despair in the waiting rooms.
What I actually saw was the opposite in a lot of cases. Some of the mentally strongest people Iโve ever met were the ones sitting in those infusion chairs. Young patients in their 20s and 30s, diagnoses most people couldnโt survive a week of emotionally, and they were laughing with the nurses, writing letters to their kids, making lists of people they wanted to see one more time, holding their partnerโs hand through cycles most of us canโt imagine.
They werenโt in denial. They werenโt pretending. They had clarity most of us never develop. The noise of everyday life had been burned away. What was left was gratitude, presence, humor, and a kind of fierce love for the ordinary things the rest of us ignore.
Holly writing this letter the day before she died is not an outlier. Itโs representative of something I saw over and over. People facing the end of their time often become the wisest voices in the room.
The lesson isnโt that we need to wait for a diagnosis to live that way. The lesson is that the diagnosis isnโt what made them wise. The diagnosis just stripped away everything that wasnโt. Most of us walk around with the same capacity to be present and grateful. We just bury it under calendar invites, phone scrolls, and small grievances.
Read Hollyโs words. Then read them again. Then actually go do the things.
Donโt wait for the diagnosis.
Read the label.

A final piece of advice from Holly Butcher - written the day before she passed away from cancer at just 27:
โItโs a strange thing knowing youโre going to die young.
At 26, I thought I had timeโฆ
To fall in love.
Start a family.
Grow old.
But cancer doesnโt care about plans.
Now, I understand how fragile life really is. Every single day is a gift, not a guarantee.
Iโm not writing this to scare you. Iโm writing to remind you: really live.
Stop stressing over little things. Be kind to your body- move it, nourish it, stop criticizing it. One day youโll wish you had appreciated it.
Go outside.
Look at the sky.
Feel the sun.
Just be.
Spend less time chasing โstuffโ - more time making memories. Donโt skip moments with people you love.
Laugh more.
Write a note.
Tell someone you love them.
Complain less.
Give more.
Helping others brings more joy than anything you can buy.
Be present.
Put your phone down.
Show up - really show up.
You donโt need to have it all figured out. You donโt need a perfect body, or a perfect life.
Just follow what makes your heart light up. Say no to what drains you. Make changes when you need to.
And please - donate blood. I wouldnโt have had that extra year without it. And that year gave me memories Iโll hold closeโฆ forever.
Thank you for reading this.
Live your life well.
And maybeโฆ weโll meet again someday.โ

Meryl Streep said:
"Aging is not for the weak. One day you wake up and realize that your youth is gone, but along with it, so go insecurity, haste, and the need to please... You learn to walk more slowly, but with greater certainty. You say goodbye without fear, and you cherish those who stay. Aging means letting go, it means accepting, it means discovering that beauty was never in our skin... but in the story we carry inside us."
