Please donβt make this mistake. Make Cybertruck better, donβt just give up on it.
I am petitioning @elonmusk and the @Tesla Board to reconsider the discontinuation of the @Cybertruck.
Cybertruck is a critical part of human-first vehicle ownership-- empowering exploration, hobbies, professionals, and home life.

Scott Galloway is a despicable fool and a deranged madman. No @profgalloway, you're the traitor to the West for spewing this invective against the man who has saved Ukraine, and you're now officially dead to me and millions of others who once upon a time thought you had the occassional interesting take.
FACT: Without Elon, Ukraine would collapse.
FACT: Ukraine's drones use Starshield, the military product, not Starlink. The Dept. of War controls that system and Ukraine contracts through the Pentagon.
FACT: There was a 7-10 day period of disruption when Musk closed a loophole in Starlink, the commercial service, from being used to launch Ukraine's interceptor drones. Service was quickly restored, but Scott believes this justifies lining Elon up against a wall to assassinate him.
FACT: Most if not all Ukrainian drone flights would be grounded immediately without Elon's technology and the frontline would collapse. US military and Ukranian officials confirm this.
If Scott Galloway really cared about Ukraine and the West, he would prostrate himself before Elon, kiss his boots, and say thank you.
But like all leftists, he'd rather go full comrade, normalize talk of political violence, murder Musk, steal his company, and nationalize it.
And somehow in his twisted, demented commie mind, he's the good guy in this story.
Total scum.
Scott Galloway calls Elon Musk a βtraitor to the Westβ and invokes the Rosenbergs, who were EXECUTED after WWII.
GALLOWAY: βWe took the Rosenbergs and put them up against a wall and executed them for being traitors.β
βAnd I realize this is an incendiary statement, but Iβll make it and I believe it. I think Elon Musk is a traitor to the West.β
βIf this had happened in any other age where we were not obsessed with innovators and money, a much different reaction would be playing out to Elon Musk.β
These people are absolutely unhinged.
CONTEXT: Scott Galloway is not some random but a bestselling author with a top podcast who regularly appears on cable news. His net worth is over $100 million, and heβs openly suggesting Musk deserves death.
This is what the Democratic Party has become, and people voted for it.

Elon Musk reposted a message Friday saying that in hindsight it was a mistake for SpaceX to send Ukraine thousands of free Starlink dishes and millions of dollars a month in free service at the start of the war. What began as internet access for civilians became the backbone for autonomous killing drones. And now if they donβt support military use, they get skewered for it in the press.
Musk has been consistent on this. Heβs already restricted Starlink use for offensive drone strikes because that was never allowed under the terms of service. Ukraine got free satellite internet to keep communications running after Russia invaded. It wasnβt a blank check for military targeting. The free aid was generous. Turning it into a permanent expectation that SpaceX fund and enable Ukraineβs drone war is not. Musk is right to draw the line. Heβs made it clear that saving lives, and humanity, is his goal. Anything that goes against that doesnβt interest him. Be thankful the richest man on earth has these morals. Itβs a blessing.

METR's Ryan Greenblatt estimates AI is now speeding up AI research by ***4.5x***
This is 5 MONTHS EARLIER than AI 2027 predicted.
On this trajectory, we may be just months from full-blown AI takeover.
"I was seriously wrong about RSI speed up."
"A 2x acceleration in overall AI progress from RSI corresponds to a much larger than 2x RSI speed up for AI software R&D (algorithms and data); I did an estimate using my public preexisting modeling of drivers of AI progress and the public report which yielded a very rough estimate of 4.5x for how much RSI is currently accelerating AI software progress (relative to no AI automation). In the AI 2027 scenario, this much acceleration happens around March 2027."
This report on AI R&D automation (RSI) is a big update towards ASI within 1-2 years. It says AI progress is sped up by RSI right now by around 2x. In AI 2027, this happens around March 2027.
I was seriously wrong about RSI speed up; I previously expected much less in 2026 (around 1.15x-1.3x). It seems as though there was specific privately available evidence that would have changed my mind.
I haven't seen an unredacted version of this report; this is purely about the public report. Because so much of the underlying evidence was redacted from the public report, I think conclusions about things other than the observed 2x faster rate of progress on benchmarks depend significantly on trust for the authors of the report. (E.g., conclusions about whether this speed up is from RSI depend on trust.) I do trust the authors of the report a lot to be careful and rigorous and generally do a good job. (Note that I also work at METR.) Less extensive redactions would greatly reduce this need for trust.
Since in my current role I may have access to other confidential information that could be relevant to timelines one way or another, I unfortunately cannot state my all-things-considered views on ASI timelines or the probability of a software intelligence explosion right now. Here, Iβve done some analysis of the implications using my previous public statements.
A 2x acceleration in overall AI progress from RSI corresponds to a much larger than 2x RSI speed up for AI software R&D (algorithms and data); I did an estimate using my public preexisting modeling of drivers of AI progress and the public report which yielded a very rough estimate of 4.5x for how much RSI is currently accelerating AI software progress (relative to no AI automation). In the AI 2027 scenario, this much acceleration happens around March 2027.
Here are the worked details of this estimate based on my public modeling. There are two main reasons RSI speed up of AI software R&D must be larger:
- Not all of AI progress is from better software (some is from scaling up compute in training runs). I've previously speculated that around 2/3 of AI progress is from software improvements which implies that 2x overall AI progress acceleration requires 3x faster software progress.
- Diminishing returns: A fixed amount of progress requires more work over time, so to ongoingly maintain 3x faster software progress via AI automation, you need increasingly large speed boosts from AI automation (as in, speed ups relative to how fast software R&D would go without AI automation). Based on this report, it seems that there is a substantial amount of additional AI progress from automation that has occurred.
We can estimate the effects of diminishing returns by first determining how many additional years of software progress we've seen (relative to the preexisting trend) and then estimating how much software R&D would slow down after a year of software progress if you held inputs fixed due to diminishing returns. I've previously estimated software R&D would slow down by around 2x for each year of software progress if you held inputs fixed (lesswrong.com/posts/FG54euEAβ¦) and based on the report, it seems as though we've perhaps seen roughly 0.35-1.0 years of additional software progress incorporated into trained models so far (geometric mean of ~0.6). This combines to 3 * 2^(~0.6) = ~4.5.

@cz_binance is right: using AI to defend is no longer optional.
At Klever we're already doing exactly this:

βοΈ AgentForge: one agent builds the exploit, another tries to prove it fails

π¨ A service built with our partner @trmlabs to spot scammer and hacker wallets early
Security isn't a final state. The goal is to evolve faster than the threats.
