North Carolina, if you plan to vote by mail, pay attention to the latest guidance and give yourself plenty of time to get your vote in. Absentee ballots need to be returned by 7:30PM on Election Day. If you can, I encourage you to vote in person during early vote to ensure your vote counts.

Have you voted yet? 🗳️
This is the LAST WEEK for early in-person voting all across North Carolina. The early in-person voting period ends at 3PM on Saturday, October 31 - after that, it's just Election Day (November 3rd).
When you go vote, be sure to bring along the 2026 Carolina Forward Voter Guide. From the top of your ticket all the way down to the bottom, the Carolina Forward Voter Guide is here to help you navigate your ballot in any of our 100 counties.
Go check out the ballot in YOUR county, and make sure to share with the people in your life: carolinaforward.org/2026/

If you are one of 107,337 voters with an unvoted NC absentee ballot, make sure when you return it that the inner envelope is sealed and you have it properly witnessed. IMHO if you are using USPS, I STRONGLY suggest mailing by MONDAY OCT 26. Alternatively, you can return it in person during business hours to your county board of elections thru Nov 3, physical addresses at vt.ncsbe.gov/BOEInfo/, or return it at any early voting site thru Oct 31. #ncpol

The State Board of Elections’ last-minute changes to voting by mail are leading to thousands more absentee ballots being rejected this election - at a rejection rate twice as high as in 2022. It’s infuriating. North Carolinians, please make a plan to vote this year, in person if possible. And if you’re voting by mail, make sure you seal both envelopes on your ballot. Don’t let them take away your vote.
Damn.
I figured something was up when the website went dark, only to spring to life suddenly during NYCC.
Best of luck to you and the team on whatever comes next, @chrisarrant!
This isn't an obituary. It's a flex.
