How the hell did this Administration allow a 28-year-old DOGE operative with zero government experience to take over USAID, fire thousands of federal employees, and shut down lifesaving aid programs around the world?
Not to mention that HR had zero record of him working there, he never completed his background paperwork to legally start working for the agency, and he didn’t even have an ID badge, because, officially, he didn’t exist as an employee.
And yet, all on his own, this man was given the go ahead to lock staff out of their own systems and use your taxpayer dollars to gut lifesaving programs with zero transparency.
The Trump Administration owes the American people and Congress answers. Who signed off on this? Why on earth was he given this kind of power?
This wasn’t an accident. Someone handed this man unchecked power, someone knew he wasn’t legally authorized to use it, and someone decided that there was nothing wrong with that.
Well, everything is wrong with that. Congress needs answers about this, and that is NOT optional.

While he hopes nobody is watching, Trump greenlit the expulsion of more than 150 Afghans back to Taliban rule, where they will face almost certain persecution, torture, or worse.
Accountability for Trump’s cruel immigration agenda cannot come soon enough.

Two of Trump's fans walked into a Minneapolis polling place in disguise and gave a real voter's name. One election judge didn't buy it. Now they're charged with felonies. Share this so every poll worker working Tuesday knows we've got their back:

Hey, serious talk here. They are going to try their best to steal this election because they know what is coming. You have every right to defend yourself and your vote. You have a 1st Amendment right and a 2nd Amendment right. We don't advocate violence - we advocate self defense.
What's with the US military practicing digging mass graves?
What's with the GOP / MAGA fucking with voting machines?
What aren't you seeing that is happening behind closed doors outside of public view?
You need over whelming numbers to make sure that these assholes can't cheat their way out of this (because ever indicator is that they are absolutely going to use any means necessary to overthrow your votes by nefarious means). All the boxes are checked. They're desperate, they're backed into a corner. They're evil.
They'll do whatever it takes to hold on to power.
You've been warned, again.

Trump rally attendee: Well, in the late 70s, I was a little too young to go to South America for the Jonestown Massacre. But this is as close as I'll ever get, so that's why I'm here. There's nothing like seeing a cult right up front.

💔 IN MEMORY OF JESSE ADAMS — A TRUE HERO FOR ANIMALS 💔
It is with enormous sadness that we have learned of the tragic death of Jesse Adams, founder of RainCoast Dog Rescue Society in Canada, who lost his life while carrying out an animal rescue mission in one of the most dangerous areas of Ukraine.
Jesse dedicated his life to saving animals, even when it meant putting his own life at risk.
We first came to know Jesse in 2021, when Afghanistan fell to the Taliban. Jesse and RainCoast were among the extraordinary organisations that came together to assist KSAR with the evacuation of 285 cats and dogs, helping many find loving forever homes.
Following Russia's invasion of Ukraine in 2022, Jesse travelled to the border to help fleeing families and their pets, providing veterinary care, supplies and assistance getting animals to safety.
He returned repeatedly, undertaking increasingly dangerous missions.
Most recently, Jesse worked alongside Animal Rescue Kharkiv, rescuing hundreds of animals from devastated frontline communities under constant threat from drones, missiles and artillery.
These were extraordinary acts of compassion and courage in the face of unimaginable danger.
Jesse knew the risks. He knew every mission could be his last. Yet he continued because he believed animals caught in conflict deserved protection just as much as those living in peace.
Those of us working in animal rescue in conflict zones understand and accept these risks. But few possess the courage to repeatedly travel towards danger when everyone else is trying to escape it.
Jesse was one of those very special people.
His death is a devastating loss to his family, friends, RainCoast and the international animal rescue community.
Our hearts go out to everyone who knew and loved him, particularly the Ukrainian rescuers who worked alongside him.
His legacy lives on in every animal he saved and every rescuer he inspired.
Rest in peace, Jesse. The world has lost an extraordinary human being, and the animals have lost a true champion. 🐾💔
With love and deepest respect,
Louise and everyone at War Paws

Trump never thought he needed Maine — and now he is literally begging.
Let's be clear: Trump's sudden reversal on Canadian tariffs isn't out of the goodness of his heart — it's a desperate attempt to rescue Susan Collins' cratering reelection campaign against Troy Jackson. It's a cynical, last-minute Hail Mary from a cruel, corrupt, and sadistic authoritarian president who has spent years hurting Maine's economy and proving he gives ZERO fucks about Mainers.

The fact that Trump will remove tariffs to help Republicans win elections, but he won’t remove tariffs to help Americans afford necessities, tells you exactly what his priorities are.
BREAKING:
The United States is expected to remove 50% tariffs on some Canadian products in a bid to help Maine Senator Susan Collins and other Republicans in the upcoming midterm elections.

“On October 5, 1937, Franklin Roosevelt did something that still gives me goosebumps to this day. He secretly visited a struggling single mother named Mary Thompson in a tiny walk-up apartment in Brooklyn after reading her heartbreaking letter about losing her factory job and being unable to feed her three children.
When she opened the door and saw the President of the United States standing there with a basket of groceries and an envelope containing a personal check, she literally fainted.
But here’s what makes this story truly magical: Roosevelt didn’t simply leave the food and walk away after a photo opportunity. He actually sat at her worn kitchen table for more than an hour, rocking her baby on his lap and helping her older children with their homework.
He told her about his fear of not being good enough after contracting polio, about how he woke up some mornings wondering whether he could keep going.
And in that cramped little kitchen, the most powerful man in the world and a woman who felt completely powerless shared their fears — and somehow, both emerged stronger.
What absolutely stunned me was that Franklin Roosevelt made the Secret Service promise never to reveal the visit to the press.
As he reportedly put it:
‘This isn't about politics. It's about one human being helping another. And the moment we turn genuine compassion into a publicity stunt, we lose something sacred.’
And he continued visiting ordinary Americans in this way throughout his presidency — more than 200 unannounced home visits, according to Eleanor Roosevelt's personal papers.
He would simply bring groceries, pay overdue rent, sit with elderly people, and always ask the Secret Service to wait outside because he wanted those moments to be real, unforced — just two human beings connecting without the burden of his office.
Mary Thompson kept that evening a secret until Roosevelt's death. Only then did she finally tell a reporter:
‘He came into my home not as a president, but as a father who understood what it meant to be afraid. And when he left, he hugged me and whispered that being a good mother to my children was the most important job in America, more important than anything he did.’
‘I believed him because I could see in his eyes that he meant every single word.’
And that is the legacy of Roosevelt that should inspire us most.
True greatness is not measured by monuments or history books, but by the quiet moments when you use whatever power you have to make even one person feel seen, valued, and less alone in their struggle.”

🚨 NEW: Kaylub Giamanco, the HERO father who TOOK OUT the Bend, Oregon elementary school shooter last week, tells the story for the first time
"I started hearing children PLEADING for their lives. And then I started hearing gunfire and I just started army crawling faster and faster. And I told myself, this is probably the last thing that I'm ever going to do."
"I have to go in. People are going to die."
"I crawled through the bottom window that was shot out and continued onto the rug inside where there's a little breezeway with stairs."
"And then the special needs classroom was to my left. At that point, I was on the ground on my hands and knees. I re-racked my weapon to make sure that a live round came so that I knew that I was ready to go."
"And then I peeked through the window. And at this point I found my opportunity. And I'd seen a teacher on the left struggling with the gunman on the right with the rifle."
"And I knew that they were on both sides of me, and I knew that he did not know that I was there. And so at that point I swung the door out and open and I stepped in and I fired."
This man deserves the Presidential Medal of FREEDOM! 🇺🇸
