I finally figured out why I'm still single. Apparently, you have to go outside, socialize and post pictures of yourself online so people know you exist. Yeah, no.

"One of the saddest ways to waste your life is to spend years becoming someone your parents wanted while forgetting the person you always wanted to be." My neighbour, Desmond, grew up in a family where becoming a medical doctor was considered the greatest achievement. His father was a successful businessman who believed every child needed a profession people would respect. However, Desmond had always been passionate about photography and filmmaking. During secondary school, he spent his weekends taking pictures at birthday parties and editing short videos for friends. Unfortunately, whenever he mentioned turning his passion into a career, his parents dismissed the idea. They insisted that photography was something he could do for enjoyment, not something capable of providing a comfortable future. Eventually, he gained admission to study medicine at a university in Enugu. He completed his degree after several difficult years, mainly because he didn't want to disappoint his family. Everyone celebrated his graduation, but nobody noticed how unhappy he had become.

My wife and I were planning to travel to Nigeria for Christmas. Family trip. I went to get our passports from the safe. My passport was there. Her passport was not there. My kids' passports were there. Hers was gone. I called her. Me: Where is your passport? Her: It's in the safe. Me: It's not there. I checked. Her: Maybe you didn't look well. Check again. Me: I checked 3 times. It's not there. Her: Oh, I took it to work for visa. For conference. Me: Which conference? The Vancouver conference? She went quiet. Me: You said Vancouver was a mistake. You said you ended it then why is your passport gone? Her: I told you I ended it! I don't talk to him again! Me: Then where is your passport? Her: I lost it! I lost it! Me: You lost it? When? Her: Last week. Me: So you lost your passport last week and didn't tell me? We are traveling in 2 weeks! She started crying. Her: Why are you always checking my things? You don't trust me! You are always controlling me. Me: I'm controlling you because I want to know where your passport is for our family trip? Her: Yes! You are controlling me, You are like my father! Me: Your father doesn't want to know where your passport is. I do. Because last time you took your passport, you went to Vancouver to meet a man who thought I was dead. Her: That was one time! One time! You will never forgive me! Me: One time? Then explain this. I showed her my phone. I had opened Find My iPhone again. Her location history. Last Tuesday, 9 PM. She was at Pearson Airport. Not at work. At Pearson Airport. Me: Why were you at Pearson Airport last Tuesday at 9 PM? You said you were at work late. Her: I... I went to drop a friend... Me: Drop a friend at 9 PM? Which friend? Her: My colleague... Me: Your colleague's flight was to where? Her: I don't know... Me: I checked. There was a flight to Vancouver at 9:30 PM last Tuesday. Were you on it? Her: No! I was not on it! I swear! Me: Then why is there a boarding pass in your email? I saw it when you left your laptop open. Boarding pass. Toronto to Vancouver. Tuesday. Seat 14A. Name: Lisa Johnson. She froze. Her: Okay... okay... I was going to tell you... Me: Tell me what? That you went back to Vancouver? To the man who thought I was dead? While I was home with the kids thinking you were at work? Her: It was just to say goodbye properly! I wanted closure! I wanted to end it face to face! Because I love you! I wanted to end it for us! Me: Closure? You needed to fly to Vancouver for closure? You needed to spend the night in his house for closure? Her: How do you know I spent the night? Me: Because your flight back was Wednesday morning. You came home Wednesday morning and said you worked night shift. She fell to her knees. Her: Please don't leave me! Please! The kids need me! I will change! I promise! It was just closure! Me: Closure is a text. Closure is not a flight, a hotel, and a night in his bed. Her: At least I came back! At least I didn't stay there! I came back to you! That should count for something! I looked at her for a few seconds. Me: Do you know what hurts the most? It's not even that you cheated. It's that you keep making me feel stupid for believing you. Her: Please. I can explain everything. Me: I don't need another explanation. I need the truth. I picked up my phone. Me: There's something else you don't know. Her: What? Me: I called the man in Vancouver yesterday. Her face changed immediately. Her: You did WHAT? Me: I wanted to hear his side of the story. Her: Why would you do that? Me: Because I wanted to know what kind of relationship you two actually had. She started shaking. Me: Do you know what he told me?

IVD and I are no longer together. I've left him to pick up the pieces of my life. -- Blessing CEO claims. Blessing CEO: Everybody said leave IVD, leave IVD, IVD is not good for you and I've left him to pick up the pieces of my life. You can see that I've gone to make my hair to maintain my beauty and I'm back in the streets as a single mother and a single girl. Anybody that wants to apply can apply but make sure you have money. I've left him o, anyone that wants to date him should do so. Celebrity and public display of shameless character. 💔

Nigeria just ranked 15th out of 56 Commonwealth countries in the 2026 Youth AI Readiness Index. And I’m sitting with mixed feelings. Proud? Yes. Satisfied? Not really. Surprised? A little.

I am very happy you never returned to that place you weren't loved. We didn't want you to return to a disrespectful environment. The players and coach all never loved you with few exemptions. You deserve more and we surely wish you well Idolo 🐐 For more than 23yrs, you've been the one carrying this Portugal and putting them on the map yet they waited till you're 41 to forget all you did for them. We, the Ronaldo Fans will forever be here to support you and let the world know everything you've done till today. The generations to come will see your achievements and your TALK AND DO doings all over the media. You're better than Pele, Maradona, Messi and all footballers to ever play this football. Thank you Cristiano. Thank you the GOAT 🐐

For 22 years, I called him my son. I paid his school fees, stayed awake when he was sick, attended his school meetings, and sacrificed almost everything I had to give him a better life. I never imagined that one day I would discover that the boy I had raised since childhood wasn't biologically mine. My name is Daniel, and I got married to my wife, Grace, when I was 26 years old. We struggled financially during the early years of our marriage, but we were happy because we had each other. After three years of marriage, Grace gave birth to a baby boy. I was the happiest man alive. I named him Michael, and from that day, I promised myself that I would give him everything I never had growing up. I worked two jobs to make sure he attended a good school. Whenever he needed something, I tried my best to provide it. Even when things were difficult, I never allowed him to feel that he was missing anything. As Michael grew older, I noticed that he didn't look much like me. Sometimes, my relatives joked about it, but I never took their comments seriously. I believed that being a father was about love, protection, and responsibility, not physical appearance. When Michael turned 18, I paid for his university education. He studied business administration and graduated with good results. I was extremely proud of him. However, everything changed one Sunday afternoon when my wife travelled to visit her sick sister. While cleaning our bedroom, I discovered an old envelope hidden inside one of her bags. At first, I wanted to leave it alone, but my name was written on it. I opened the envelope and found an old hospital document dated the year Michael was born. As I read through it, I noticed something strange. The details on the document did not match the story my wife had told me about his birth. I immediately called her, but she didn't answer. That evening, when she returned, I placed the document on the dining table and asked her to explain. The moment she saw it, her face changed. She sat down quietly, covered her face with her hands, and started crying. I asked her one question: "Grace, whose child have I been raising for the past 22 years?" She remained silent for several minutes before finally saying: "Daniel, there is something I should have told you a long time ago. What she revealed next changed everything I thought I knew about my marriage
