Aidan Miller is tearing the cover off of the baseball in the Arizona Fall League.
Finally, he looks like that healthy threat that the Phillies drafted three years ago.

Tocchet- this fucking guy. Used up vets are pissy because they are being shown up by kids. Michkov has scored 31% of ALL Flyers goals after 15 games. He IS playing for his fucking teammates. Can HE demand a center who understand scoring is part of the job description???

Rick Tocchet criticized Matvei Michkov in January for not following the “rule of winning”
The Rick Tocchet-led Flyers are 4-18 in their last 22 games
I don’t think Rick Tocchet knows what the “rule of winning” is
The more I think about it, the more pissed off i get over “coach taco” and his fucking comments from last night.
You have a mostly young Flyers team that is still trying to find their way. They were down 3-0 last night and could’ve easily packed it in.
Instead, they fought their way back and forced the game to an overtime and got themselves a point which they deserved.
Yet this fucking asshole of a head coach goes on the press conference and just completely belittle the entire team…like how the fuck is that good?
How about you read the room you fucking dickhead?

Why does Tocchet never take accountability for the way this team plays??
It’s always “they’re nervous” or “they’re not focused” it’s always blame the players
What is it you do here, exactly? Is it not your job to get them focused and prepared for these games?
Just take some accountability man, this teams 3-11 and this has happened to you multiple times now as a head coach. At some point there has to be a common denominator.

I believe this will be considered one of the most important videos in US history from this time.

Johnny Chan’s trap at the 1988 World Series is still one of the coldest hands ever played.
Chan flops a straight and just calls. Erik Seidel walks right into it, shoves the river, and Chan snap calls for back-to-back world titles.
The footage was later used in the movie Rounders, where Matt Damon’s character rewatches it over and over to study how Chan plays.
