Men don’t approach women in public because we told them it was annoying and creepy. In retrospect we probably should have just taught them what we don’t think is creepy but we didn’t so if you’re attracted to men you’re gonna have to approach them now, they won’t do it anymore.
my hot take and they’re going to burn me at the stake: PART of the reason men don’t approach women anymore is because of unisex fashion. the jorts, baggy jeans, oversized everything. men are drawn to dimorphism, things that are undeniably “woman.” dresses, skirts, heels

Actually, it didn’t stop men who don’t care about being seen as creepy or annoying. Men who do care about that stopped. And then are told online that if they don’t get with women they’re probably creeps who don’t bathe. 🤷‍♂️

It stopped the good ones who were raised with manners. Hope that helps

All the men afraid to offend stopped approaching. All the men who never cared whether they offended or not continued approaching.

i theorize the existence of a secret third group of men who understand both context and that women aren’t all identical

No, actually, it stopped the men who care about consent and respect, but did nothing to the men who don't. Which means that it actually had the effect of making being approached a guaranteed nightmare instead of having a small chance of a pleasant interaction

if a man isn’t emotionally aware enough to evaluate context and make a call from that rather than apply blanket rules i’m not interested anyway tbh

It definitely didn’t stop the men who never cared about women’s comfort to begin with. The ones who did care listened and stopped, but this won’t be noticeable b/c they won’t be approaching you; all you’d notice is an increase in the proportion of disrespectful approaches.

it is very possible to casually approach women in public you just need to use empathy

It stopped a good number of them. Something like 50% of gen z men say they don’t approach women in public at all

The end result was all the relatively good men are now scared to approach women. While all the bad men will continue to do so. Now women's chances are rare a man will good intent will approach them and all there is left is the bad men.

nitter.cf/i/status/2075114960414… Because estoy didnt find them attractive
Replying to @JeanGreige
This is half true, you cant teach men what you think its creepy or not, Bcause women decide if something is creepy or not based on if they find the man attractive, thats the problem and most men know this, we have seen same thing done and said by 2 men and the reactions diferent.

95% of this is actually just applying empathy, showering, and being able to dress yourself
