A man invested his family's $53,000 in savings into a dying video game company that was thought to be ending
Later, in the basement of his home, he turned that investment into $48 MILLION.
Keith Gill was a 34 year old financial analyst at a Boston insurance firm in 2019.
He was just your average 9-5 worker with an average salary, but his conviction was something else.
He believed GameStop, a mall video game retailer trading at $5 a share, was one of the most undervalued companies in America, even though it was struggling with the rise of the digital age.
Wall Street disagreed. Hedge funds had shorted the stock so much that more shares were shorted than what actually existed.
Everyone was certain GameStop was going to zero.
But not Gill.
Gill invested $53,000 of his family's savings and started posting his analysis online under the name DeepFuckingValue on Reddit and Roaring Kitty on YouTube.
Nobody took him seriously. He kept posting anyway, week after week, with nothing but spreadsheets and his own strong conviction.
In January of 2021 retail traders on Reddit's WallStreetBets discovered his posts.
Retail started buying and the stock went from $5 to $483 in three weeks time. A 9,600% gain.
Wall Street's Hedge Funds that shorted the stock lost BILLIONS. One firm alone lost over $6 BILLION and had to be bailed out by the other hedge funds.
On January 27, 2021, Gill's $53,000 investment was worth $48 MILLION.
He lost $13 MILLION in a single day when the stock started going down. He held anyway, without a second thought.
Robinhood restricted buying of GameStop without warning.
Retail traders were angry. Congress then had summoned Gill to testify.
He showed up in his Roaring Kitty headband and said three words that became the most quoted phrase in finance that year,
"I like the stock." - Keith Gill
His employer fired him and paid a hefty $4 MILLION fine for failing to supervise his trading.
He went quiet for three years.
Then in May 2024 he posted a single image on X. GameStop surged 50% the next morning before he said a single word.
By June 2024 his position was worth $289 MILLION.
A Hollywood film called Dumb Money was made about the event, with Paul Dano. Gill has never spoken publicly about it.
Roaring Kitty will forevr be a name that is recognized in the finance world, and his legacy will not stop.

Let's test Islam's favorite claim: the Quran's "scientific miracles." Problem: every flagship "miracle" was already known, is actually wrong, or was only "discovered" in the text AFTER science found it first.
1. EMBRYOLOGY (Q 23:14). Semen → clot → lump → bones, THEN flesh over the bones. That's not modern science — that's GALEN, 2nd century, errors included. Real development: bone and muscle form together; bones are never "clothed" afterward. Galen reached Arabia through Syriac translations (Sergius of Reshaina) centuries before Muhammad. And Q 86:6-7 puts the fluid "between the backbone and the ribs" — ancient anatomy. Modern anatomy says testes. Wrong address.
2. MOUNTAINS AS PEGS (Q 78:7), "lest the earth shake." Geology says the opposite: mountain belts are built by the collisions that CAUSE earthquakes — the Himalayas and Andes are among the most seismic places on Earth. Pegs that produce the shaking?
3. IRON "SENT DOWN" (Q 57:25). Egyptians called iron "metal from heaven" over a thousand years earlier; Tutankhamun's dagger is meteorite iron. The whole ancient world knew iron fell from the sky. A miracle requires information nobody had.
4. EXPANDING UNIVERSE (Q 51:47). For 13 centuries Tabari and Ibn Kathir read musi'un as God's POWER. Nobody found "expanding" in it until Hubble — then the verse got re-translated to match. If the expansion was in the text, why did it take a telescope to find it?
5. THE TWO SEAS (Q 25:53). Sailors had watched river water ride over seawater since boats existed — and those waters DO mix. It's a gradient, not a barrier.
See the pattern? Vague verse + modern discovery = retrofitted miracle, every time. No scientist has ever derived a discovery FROM the Quran; they only get "found" in it afterward. And where the text is precise, it's precisely 7th-century: Galen's embryology, semen from the backbone, the sun setting in a muddy spring (Q 18:86).
So choose: either the verses are too vague to prove anything — or they're clear enough to prove the Quran copied the science of its own century, mistakes and all. Which is it?

As usual Tu quoque fallacy.
First, the canonical Christian scriptures are entirely silent on Mary’s age; there is absolute no biblical chapter or verse to support this claim, quote it. The age (Mary was 12 to 14 years old) originates from the Protoevangelium of James—a non-canonical, apocryphal text long rejected by the Church.
Second, your argument is self-defeatingly selective. If you insist on using this specific apocryphal source to define Mary’s age, you must also accept that the very same text explicitly establishes her PERPETUAL VIRGINITY under a non-marital guardianship. The same status cannot be applied to Muhammad's marriage to Aisha. As he consummated the marriage at 9.
Finally, even if historical or apocryphal sources were correct about Mary, it remains a logical deflection. Pointing to historical parallels does not magically validate or morally justify Muhammad’s actions.
Do better.

One of the most dangerous lies a man can tell himself is that he has nothing to fear from God simply because “God is love.” The words are biblical. The conclusion often drawn from them is not.
John does say, “God is love” (1 John 4:8). But the same Bible says, “Our God is a consuming fire” (Hebrews 12:29), that He “is angry with the wicked every day” (Psalm 7:11), and that “the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men” (Romans 1:18). We do not honor God by choosing the attribute that comforts us and quietly removing the ones that make us tremble.
God’s love does not cancel His holiness. His mercy does not make His justice disappear. At the cross we see both with terrible clarity. Christ did not die because sin was harmless and God decided to overlook it. He bore our sins in His body (1 Peter 2:24), and Isaiah says, “the LORD has caused the iniquity of us all to fall on Him” (Isaiah 53:6). Calvary tells us how much God loves sinners, but it also tells us how seriously God judges sin.
Jesus Himself spoke more plainly about judgment than many Christians are comfortable speaking today. “He who does not obey the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him” (John 3:36). That is not the language of a cruel God. It is the language of the holy God who refuses to call evil good.
And this is where idolatry can creep into Christian language. We can construct a god who never judges, never condemns, never confronts sin, and never requires repentance. We may still call him loving, but we have made him manageable. Psalm 50:21 gives the warning: “You thought that I was just like you.” A god formed around our preferences is still an idol even when we use Bible words to describe him.
The love of God should never make the sinner casual about His wrath. It should drive us to Christ, because the same God whose holiness condemns our sin has provided the Lamb who bears judgment for His people. “There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus” (Romans 8:1). That promise is breathtaking precisely because condemnation was real.
So never comfort yourself with a god who loves too much to judge. Come to the God Scripture actually reveals: holy, just, merciful, patient, and full of steadfast love. And come to Him through Christ, because outside of Christ His wrath remains, while in Christ there is peace with God.

In 2004, a man from London sold everything he owned, down to his clothes, and put all $135,300 on a single spin of a roulette wheel in Las Vegas.
His name is Ashley Revell. In the video below, the casino manager at the Plaza asks him one last time: “Are you sure you want to make this bet with your life savings?”
He says yes.
The casino makes it clear they would never “knowingly condone or accept someone taking a wager of their entire life savings.” They let him do it anyway.
There are no tricks here. No system, no edge. Roulette has a house edge on every spin, and his odds of winning were just under 50/50.
He stands at the table and can’t decide. “What color, then?” “I don’t know.” “Oh man, too many decisions.”
Then he picks red. “Can I kiss it?”
The ball lands on 7. Red.
$135,300 became $270,600 in a few seconds. He used part of it to start an online poker company.
Was it the dumbest bet in Las Vegas history, or the smartest marketing stunt anyone ever pulled with their life savings?
The dead sea scrolls (dated to 3rd century BC) showed that the masoretic text preserved a textual tradition from centuries before.
In fact, catholic bibles also use the masoretic text as a legitimate textual witness.
So why so much hate for the masoretic text?
When I lost my blind faith in atheism and found the Christian faith, I was puzzled and sad that the Christians had quarreled among themselves and split into so many factions with so much mutual hostility.
When deciding which denomination to pursue, this question continually nagged me.
On what grounds, and by what authority, did Martin Luther have the right to remove books from the Bible?
Who appointed him judge that he could judge what was holy and unholy, scriptural or unscriptural, in the scripture?
Why would he turn to the rabbinical canon rather than use the traditional Christian one?
Even if he held that the traditional Christian canon was somehow corrupt or insufficient for the last 1500 or so years, on what basis did he hold that the Canon gathered by the Pharisees in the five centuries after Christ to be incorrupt?
I questioned several of my Protestant friends on this issue, and found, to my surprise, let none of them knew any of the history of scripture. At most, one or two would repeat that St Jerome had once expressed doubts about certain of the books.

Bonnie Blue had unprotected sex with 400 men to get pregnant. She took a DNA sample from every one of them. A month later she showed off her bump on spring break. Then she admitted it was silicone. The fake pregnancy made her £1 million. Then she got pregnant for real, and announced the birth outside the hospital wing where Kate Middleton had her children.
Her real name is Tia Billinger. She is 27 and grew up in a Derbyshire village. At 14 she started dating a boy from school, Ollie, and later married him. She worked in recruitment. They moved to Australia’s Gold Coast, and he is the one who gave her the confidence to start OnlyFans. She has said they struggled to conceive and that she would probably need IVF.
They split in 2023 and he went to work for her. In January 2025 she claimed 1,057 men in 12 hours. She made $1.4 million in 30 days. Then OnlyFans banned her for life.
In December 2025 police in Bali raided a villa and arrested her with 17 men. She had been driving around the island in a pickup truck with “Bangbus” painted on the side. She faced up to 15 years in prison. She left with a small traffic fine, deportation and a 10-year ban. Days after landing in London she filmed herself outside the Indonesian embassy mimicking a sex act with their flag. British police charged her with outraging public decency.
In February 2026 she held what she called a “breeding mission”: around 400 men, no protection, a DNA swab from each one. She filmed the pregnancy test. On March 31, outside a villa in Mexico, she said she was “no longer gonna need this fake bump” and thanked the parents who fell for it. She says the hoax got 100 million views and £1 million.
Then she said she was pregnant again, this time for real. In the video below she sits down with LBC’s Shelagh Fogarty and announces that her baby shower will be a golden shower, open to the public. The host tells her she is uncomfortable: “This is your baby. This is your child.” On June 6, 112 men turned up.
She admits her child’s life will be hard. She says money fixes it: the best healthcare, never having to work, a better life than “this s*** UK life.”
On August 29 she posted a blurred newborn, filmed outside the Lindo Wing. The caption: “and then there were 1058 of us.” She has not named the father. No DNA results have come out. She plans to be filming again within five weeks.
A woman who thought she would need IVF now has a baby whose father could be any one of 400 strangers.
Watch the moment the host realises she isn’t joking.
