Democrats out here talking about nationalizing SpaceX, like nigga you have nationalized SpaceX, it's called NASA and it blows ass, that's why Elon had to start SpaceX.
It's funny how of all the group slurs trannies is the one that's the most natural to call "trans people" because the only alternative is the giant mouthful "trans people" and nobody wants to say that shit. Like with gays you can just say gays.
Holy shit, the cope is off the charts
Everything I know about socialism comes from socialists, and what I know is that socialism means stealing from people and trashing shit out of seething hatred and envy
All real libertarians eventually recognize that what they were taught about “socialism” was nonsense, even if it’s just to better argue about it.
What they do after that, it generally goes one of three ways.
1. They get real quiet
2. They embrace the lies and knowingly spread them, as they’ve put too much of their ego into it and it’s too traumatic to change the identity they had no idea they’d got straight from the regime
3. They keep their ideals but embrace education, believing that the more they learn the better off they are. Along the way, they become Communists
I genuinely think we would produce the kind of games that the people mourning Bioware think are good, under communism.
If communism takes hold in the US maybe the first thing it will do is resurrect Bioware as an official state organ.

About that one year old who got shot, now I'm sorry he got shot, but responsible white criminals, like if my mom had been a criminal, she would absolutely have organized babysitters for me while she was out committing crimes.

Let’s say you work at a Denny’s, everybody in town loves coming to Denny’s but you and the other people who work at and run this Denny’s location all hate the people from your town and want the cool people from three towns over to be the ones coming to your Denny’s
You stop serving Moons Over My Hammy and replace it with a Kale infused porridge because one of the guys who works at the store grew up three towns over and says that’s what they like to eat there. Likewise, you replace the Grand Slam with a Tofu Patty and Chick Peas, and so on.
A couple of travelers from three towns over pass through and love the stuff, it’s great. The newspaper over there does a big write up about how this Denny’s is serving great food, you’re pumped because this is working!
But nobody from your town is coming anymore because they liked the old stuff and really REALLY hate the new stuff, and as the days turn into weeks turn into months not that many people from three towns over are really coming in to eat either as it turns out. Most of them prefer their local boutique restaurants and aren’t really interested in driving all that way to go to a chain restaurant, unusual as it may be, plus they have a low opinion of Denny’s in general to begin with.
You’re losing money hand over fist, nobody’s coming to eat, and then the brand gets bought out by a private equity firm. They take a look at the assets they’ve just bought and see this location would cost them a fortune to leave open, and has a staff who are violently hostile to going back to making normal Denny’s food. They do the only sensible thing they can think of and announce they’re shuttering the location.
Is the private equity firm the bad guy here?

BioWare is not, like, a guy. BioWare closing is not like Steven Spielberg or Quentin Tarantino getting fired or cancelled.
BioWare is a business entity that existed for 30 years. During that time people — including lead creatives who were responsible for the great games — came and went.
Some video game studios manage to maintain a culture and a sensibility around excellence and the key creatives either stick around for a long time or pass the reins to handpicked successors who share their values and preserve the culture and standards of the studios.
What has happened in the game industry over the last 15 years is that there came to be a widespread belief that the cultures that incubated excellent games were exclusionary racist, sexist, homophobic boys clubs that needed to change in order to welcome in different kinds of people.
Instead of hiring people who shared their values and sensibilities, the people at these game studios were pressured to push their workforces toward being 50% female while achieving racial equity. The staff of the studios changed dramatically, the cultures of the workplaces changed dramatically and the games changed dramatically.
The pandemic sent a lot of people into their homes to play video games, which seemed like it was going to drive an era of growth for the industry. At the same time, the new generation of gaming hardware required more detailed assets, more animation, and therefore more people to make these massive games.
So there was a huge hiring boom at the precise moment that there was an overarching focus of the demographics of the industry, which means that nearly every Western game studio’s workforce was completely transformed. Over 40% of games industry workers under the age of 25 identified as LGBT or nonbinary on recent surveys.
Additionally, some studios have had unique pressures that have driven a lot of turnover. At Rocksteady Games, for example, a lot of the people who made the Batman: Arkham trilogy were not interested in building the live service game Warner wanted, so most of the principals on those games left the studio during the production of “Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.”
The studio cannot pivot back to what used to be its strength at making single player titles after that failure because all the people who are responsible for the classic games are gone. They no longer have that strength. They no longer have the institutional capacity to make great games because great games are made by great people and the great people are gone. A similar thing happened to BioWare during “Anthem.”
They couldn’t just pivot back to making great “Dragon Age” or “Mass Effect” games after the failure of “Anthem” because too many people were gone and the culture had changed. They weren’t the same studio and they weren’t a great studio anymore.
The BioWare that was shuttered today is not the studio that made “Mass Effect 2” or “Knights of the Old Republic.” That studio hasn’t existed for many years. It was just the “Dragon Age: The Veilguard” studio.

Wrong KPIs - a lot of companies were judged not just on sales numbers, but on how well they scored with journalistig cames media. After Gamer Gate, that meant making games for people who weren't gamers themselves.
But, this goes further than just the developers. ESG scores - Environmental, Social and Governance - is part of how companies are judged by investors. It's no longer about how much money you make, but how many "good boy points" you have while doing it.
This is a highly ideologically driven score pushed by people like Larry Fink of the notrious BlackRock investment firm. As such, all the leftist ideology is what boosts your score. For games that means having the right leftist ideology within the "social" part of the game.
Since games are made with investor money, not from saving up money from your sales, you're in a pickle.
The customer isn't actually the gamer, it's the investor.
The investors have convinced themselves that having ugly women that look like men, and transgendered gay people, who lecture people about pronouns, is the way to make games.
Your company is also ranked on how many of [insert identity group here] you employ, thus people aren't hired on merit. So you get preachy writing in games made by shitty developers.
The rest is intertia. You can surf on your past success for about a decade before your actually earnings scores towards investors shows itself.
So yeah. Go woke, go broke. ESG sounds good on paper, but it's hard being a progressive capitalist, because at the end of the day the only thing that matters is cold hard cash.
The fact that you think Bioware games are supposed to have morals, and not options, tells me youre judging them based on the shitty woke games that nobody played.
In my Bioware games Shepard punches the reporter in the face and lets the council die.
Wokies are this fucking delusional about a game studio that made woke shit that nobody wanted to play for over a decade
This is private equity, this is what it does.
Buy up businesses, run them into the ground, and rip them apart for short-term profit.
The developers at BioWare know how to run the studio. They know how to make the games we all love. They should be given the first opportunity - and the federal support - to buy it and run it themselves.
And if we want to avoid the Mass Effect effect in Canada, we should be keeping private equity out, not welcoming it in.

If we were under communism, Bioware would have been kept alive by the government making shitty games that nobody wants full of leftoid propaganda forever
Instead under capitalism they went out of business for making those games.
Go capitalism.
Underlying every communist is a seething resentment of anyone (not just muh billionaires) whose job the communist is too stupid to understand.
