Cancelled my subscription. I will miss all of you but I won't miss the aggro. Changed the logo and banner to misc (in a Derpy way) and I'll maybe see you all in a few years(?). I'll check the DMs once in a while if you need any graphic design things. Love, A xx

I am not 100% convinced that hospitals should have Halloween decorations with dead people climbing out the walls but I 110% think it’s hilarious 😂🧟‍♀️

I will NEVER understand why Renfrewshire Council did not activate its 10 million pound Flood Defence System when we all knew for over a week that 3 storms were coming back-to-back.

Note to all Judges: Stabbing a girl 10 times is not ‘mischief’. It’s serious violence. (We should not have to point this out). Yet another case where a Judge is apparently more focused on the wellbeing of the violent male youth, than the brutalised girl. We agree with her mother. This derisory sentence is indeed disgraceful. Q. What sort of message does this send out to young girls- and for that matter, young boys too? A. That young girls matter less than young boys. Even stabbed young girls. telegraph.co.uk/news/2026/10…

If you’re a parent do pay attention to this terrible bill. The law already protects young people from coercion & harm, this bill will just criminalise loving parents worried for their, very often gay or autistic children. They plan to take away your parental rights to parent

The audacity of the men critiquing Harry Kanes wife when they are sitting at home with spotty arses, reeking of divorce and hairlines that look like a toffee apple rolled in a carpet.

1. I’m obviously devastated that @AngryDragon7 no longer “adores me”…🙄 2. I’m more than aware of LGB history. I couldn’t possibly be aware of LGBTQ etc history, as that is a recent, revisionist concoction, peddled by Stonewall et al to keep their collective incomes afloat. 3. Preserving women’s hard fought-for & won rights is not about “throwing anyone under a bus”. It’s about respecting boundaries, dignity & safeguards. ‘Good men stay out so bad men stand out.’ 4. This is nothing to do with being “left or right” wing. This is simply about doing what IS right. 5. I may be many things, but being “bitter” & “a queen” ain’t two of them…. “old”, I’ll give you. 😁
I used to adore you. So funny and so talented. Now I just see you as a bitter old queen who throws the trans community under the bus. Know your LGBTQ history James, they were with us during the biggest struggles. The right want us divided and you’re doing their job for them.

Tomorrow (Thursday 29th) I'm appearing before the parliamentary committee scrutinising the draft Conversion Practices Bill. I've written in my newsletter about how extraordinarily dangerous this planned law is. Free to read thehelenjoyce.com/p/terf-isl…

Several people have already contacted me about the situation at Oxford University. Their messages make clear that some women DO feel uncomfortable with a man wearing giant prosthetic breasts to work. But that raising concerns is not easy. If you feel you have anything relevant to share, my inbox is open. All messages treated in confidence. [email protected]

Maugham’s latest campaign simply proves that the Good Law Project is a grievance engine... can you think of anything more tragic than a grumpy old man picking a fight with fairy lights? spiked-online.com/2026/10/27…

I've been looking forward to this. And it's a cracker.

A doctor rapes a patient. The victim reports it. THE DOCTOR ADMITS IT. He tells a hospital committee that it was a "one off" and he will not do it again. THE MANAGEMENT SAYS THAT IS OK. And allow him to carry on working. THE POLICE TAKE NO ACTION. The hospital concerned is the BLACKPOOL VICTORIA HOSPITAL. The same hospital where a 75 year old patient was raped to death and no one was ever convicted for it. Are women worth nothing to the NHS? bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c172…

I don't have enough words to describe how grossly insulting it is to compare domestic abuse (and the related legislation) with your point about parents attempting to stop children undergoing drastic and damaging medical treatment for a condition they are extremely likely to grow out of naturally.

Do read and share Helen's post on the conversion therapy bill. It's not exaggeration to say that if this bill passes, all our work to protect women and children over the last ten years will be undone. thehelenjoyce.com/p/terf-isl…

Dear @andyburnham, The social care system survives by pushing unpaid carers beyond human limits. 1 in 3 provide 100+ hrs of care weekly. Over 14 hrs a day, year after year £86.45 Carer’s Allowance. No maximum hours. No guaranteed rest. Isn’t this institutional exploitation?

This. These organisations can’t keep ignoring the law or disrespecting female participants. We are just as worthy of fair records & places as men are.
I can confirm that @wsusportsunion's solicitors have written to @parkrun to point out that they are breaking the law. We do NOT want parkrun to be 'less inclusive', we want fairness for women and for the female category to be protected.
