These Ring videos of certain demographics raiding candy bowls on Halloween bring me back to what I like to call the Farm Stand Theory and which I think has been coined elsewhere as the Farm Stand Test.
Most of the neighborhoods Iāve lived in have had a house with an unmanned farm stand. You take fresh produce or eggs and leave the money in a box. It runs entirely on the honor system.
If you are moving and looking for a new community, find one that has a farm stand. The farm stand immediately tells you that the community is safe, neighborly, and high trust. The farm stand reveals more than any other single observable factor ever could. Even if you never use the farm stand, you can rest easy knowing itās there.
If your neighborhood not only doesnāt have a farm stand but *couldnāt* have one, even in theory, that means you live in a shit hole. It means you canāt even trust the people around you to be minimally civilized and decent.
People who live in the city like to brag about the nice restaurants and stores nearby. But the vast majority of neighborhoods in the vast majority of cities couldnāt sustain a farm stand for even a day. It would be looted and wiped out within about 45 minutes. That makes them shit holes. I donāt care how expensive the houses are or how many restaurants you have nearby. Youāre surrounded by dishonorable, deceitful thieves. You live in a dump, Iām sorry to tell you.
But the uncomfortable (for some people, not me) fact about the farm stand is that it also tells you something else: if you have an unmanned farm stand, your community is probably overwhelmingly white. It could also have an Asian population and sustain a farm stand just fine. But thatās about the extent of the ādiversityā youāre likely to find if youāre trying to live in a Farm Stand Eligible location, which you should be.
A neighborhood could be wealthy or middle class or lower income and have a farm stand. The farm stand doesnāt tell you much about the average tax bracket of a community. It does tell you something about its demographics. Feel however you want about that fact. But it is a fact.

She can barely see the road.
She can barely be identified in an emergency. And she has a double-decker full of strangers whose lives depend on her reaction time.
Passengers donāt get a vote on whether they want a faceless driver. They just have to hope nothing goes wrong.
If your religious practice requires completely covering your face and restricting your vision, you are free to do that in your private life.
You are not free to do it while operating a public vehicle that weighs several tons and carries dozens of people.
This is not ādiversity.ā This is a safety failure dressed up as tolerance.
And everyone on that bus is paying for it.

Last week I was asked if we could take 2 golden retrievers who had been surrendered. As soon as I saw the video of them looking frail, broken and unwell I agreed. 2 very kind ladies fought for their freedom and drove the dogs to meet our team today.
The story is complicated and I wonāt go into it here. What I can share is that a third sibling died. Although these 2 dogs look ok at first glance there are so many problems. Their fluffiness is covering some very malnourished and unhealthy dogs. Despite that their tails wonāt stop wagging.
The ladies who saved them named them Bonnie and Clyde. The perfect names for 2 dogs on the run from their past and hoping to start a new life with us.
There are a lot more questions than answers right now for these 2. What I do know is that we will try our very best to save them, build them back up and make better lives for them. Bonnie and Clyde have had some early treatments and are sleeping beside each other in the hospital.

I was just personally dismissed from the Macron lawsuit filed against me in Delaware.
This case represents one of the grossest, legal overreaches by a foreign government leader in human historyāa sitting Presidentās attempt to personally bankrupt a single podcaster from outside the nation in which he governs.
And to formally reiterate since many reporters willfully lied about this most important detail: I was NEVER being sued for stating that Brigitte Macron was born a male. I was instead being sued for discussing MK Ultra and for allegedly accusing the āFirst Ladyā of theft from her sister.
I am tremendously grateful to the Delaware courts and to the presiding Judge for looking at this case objectively, despite false media depictions and government pressures.

Gentle reminder for Republicans who are mystified why so much of their base is sitting out the mid-terms.
The current administration has refused to restrain them at any level. They ran off Kent, Massie, and MTG. The launched a war in Iran. The refused to release the E Files.
And then there's Charlie Kirk. He's not around to weigh in on it. The last we heard from him was the night before he died when he stated clearly and emphatically, "I'm left no choice but to leave the pro-Israel cause."
By now it should be clear to our decision makers: we will not be able to end this war until we meaningfully restrain Israel. The Israelis have thwartedā& will continue to thwartāany deal we attempt to reach with Tehran.
Israel drove us into this war because we let them. The fundamental issue is this administrationās inability to stop our junior partner from acting like our senior partner.
Itās long past time for our leaders to do just thatālead by restraining the Israelis & end this war now.

Just a year ago his beautiful mother was living on the streets of Thailand after a life of being used for breeding. We found her scavenging around for food.
To see Sienna now in Wales, on daily walks in the forests and being spoiled rotten is the thing of absolute dreams.
