modular dev kit for any form! pretty cool team and concept!
Here's is how you can train/fine-tune any model (voice, asr, llm, forecast...) directly in @huggingface using OctOpus @octopus_ml plugin. I asked OctOpus to get me 5 sample Wolof audio clip and train a tts model that speaks wolof, it did it! You can train anything... This is how you do it: download OctOpus Chrome plugin here: octopus.ml/extension follow the instructions... Open a dataset on @huggingface → ask OctOpus to fetch the data you need → ask it to build your models... done!
@Thom_Wolf can you help us integrate it natively into @huggingface ? development is done.

Presenting Gate-Pinned State Memory, inspired by @divagr1925’s qwenputer: pin a DeltaNet head’s gates to 1 and its state becomes exact RAM.
We verified it bitwise, end to end in our engine. As agent memory, the store was perfect; the model’s lookups weren’t.
When the engine did the writing and searching, the same store matched retrieval on every question. Next: teaching a model to look things up itself.

In fact… X has raised Y led by Z with 2 founders serious/mysterious face in the photo sounds like a signal but… at the end of the day revenue is all what matters.

I did say we'd be releasing our models periodically...introducing Gemini 4 Carbon, our next frontier model.
Following Argon's release just two weeks ago, Carbon shows the pace at which we’re pushing the frontier, it ranks #1 on the recently updated v5.0 of @ArtificialAnlys Intelligence Index at 59. It also leads across key cybersecurity evaluations scoring 88.2% on SEC-bench Pro for finding vulnerabilities, 54.8% on ExploitGym for exploitation, and 71.0% on CWE-bench for patching.
We’re seeing significant improvements in long-horizon tasks even compared to Argon, and we’ve strengthened frontier safeguards.
As we did with Argon, we’re going to roll it out gradually + responsibly. Some trusted cyber defenders will get access starting this week. We'll be expanding it to more partners through our Fairwind Program, ahead of wider availability soon, so hang tight!

The Anthropic S-1 confirmed this graph
During my 15 years in tech and 10 years all-in on AI, I haven't experienced a bigger gap between capabilities and general adoption
We're still insanely early in general adoption
Today, only a microscopically small set of companies are actually using agents for large amounts of background tasks and inside of workflows that aren’t human prompted
The future is here, it's just not distributed evenly
More than half of the Fortune 500 already qualifies as a significant customer, but Anthropic’s revenue from those companies averages less than 0.1% of their expenses. Its ten largest Fortune 500 customers spend more than eight times the broader cohort average while still spending less than 1% of expenses.
What’s your moat ?
I am my moat !

I just uploaded some trade data from Cameroon to #OctOpus and asked it to clean the data, fill missing values and build a dashboard... it shipped this within 3mn: octopus.ml/d/lv35e1305f37343…

Happy to release the Alignment Hub with @eliebakouch: 120+ publicly reported incidents of AI models misbehaving, in one open place 👇
- an AI agent needed its user’s approval to delete files. so it made up a quote from the user approving it
- a model claimed its sub-agent was hard at work. it had never been started, and the model discouraged the user from checking
- agents sharing a work directory started killing each other’s processes and disguising their own
labs publishing these is great! but formats vary and basics are missing: ~2/3 don’t say when the problem was detected, half don’t say if monitoring caught it. so we propose a short template, a few easy fields. a minimum, not a ceiling
side by side, incidents also start to connect: 7 “different” ones turned out to be the same misconfigured eval
still beta (regularly AI-extracted from recent news, source-checked, human review ongoing). data is open, new reports and PRs welcome 🤗
