Somebody needs to make it a point to bankroll lawsuits against MAGA influencers and MAGA media. The Talarico op is proof of that. These people are a cognitive cancer, and nothing short of being sued will make them stop. There must be life and career destroying consequences for engaging in the behavior you see on a regular basis in right-wing media spaces. This screenshot isn’t a complete list of names. There are others. It would be a good place to start though.
Representative James Talarico has never received treatment from Lindner Center of Hope.

If you are shocked this am that Trump’s government executed a search warrant against a Democratic Member of Congress and ignored a judge’s order then you haven’t been paying attention. Stop saying this isn’t how it works in the US. It is exactly how it works under Trump.

Zelensky Is Playing Trump Like a Fiddle. Donald Trump declared on Sunday that Russia and Ukraine had agreed to stop striking each other's energy infrastructure. Kyiv found out from the media and Moscow hasn't confirmed a thing, which tells you exactly how much of a deal there ever was. Zelensky could have called it nonsense, and instead he did something far smarter. He said yes. Ukraine will stop hitting Russian refineries the moment Russia stops hitting Ukraine's power grid, which means the only thing standing between Trump and his truce is Trump's ability to make Putin comply. He can't, and Zelensky knows it. Within hours the ballistic missiles will be falling on Ukraine again, and every one of them is proof that Putin ignores the American president because it costs him nothing. Zelensky has worked out that he never needs to defy Trump when he can simply agree with him and let Moscow expose the man as a lame duck who has nothing left but capital letters and exclamation marks.
Today, there was a statement from the President of the United States that an energy ceasefire has been secured. This is good news for everyone – and it is important that it become reality. Unfortunately, Ukrainian skies have been infested with Russian “shaheds” all day today. There have been glide bomb strikes and strikes on our energy infrastructure too. A power plant in Kharkiv was attacked this evening. Overall, this past week alone, the Russians have carried out more than 200 strikes on our electricity generation and transmission facilities in Ukraine, and another 17 strikes this week targeted gas and oil facilities. They have killed more than 150 of our people, and more than 700 people have been wounded. Ukraine has proposed many de-escalatory steps. Putin had one answer to all of them – “nyet.” We do hope that he will finally say something to America, Ukraine, and the entire world that will lead to a real and dignified peace. Ukraine wants peace. The question is whether Russia does. The Armed Forces of Ukraine have received all the appropriate orders. We are awaiting clear details of the dialogue between America and Russia – and we expect Putin to follow through on what President Trump said.

Trump lied that there was a ceasefire that was agreed to. Again. Seems like it should be a pretty big deal when a president repeatedly announces trade and peace deals day after day that turn out to be complete fiction, while Republicans in Congress say nothing. Vote them out.
It is clear that Putin does not read Truth Social, and his “shahed” drones follow a different set of instructions. But we in Ukraine immediately supported the idea of an energy ceasefire, as we did more than once for months when we ourselves put forward this idea. We agreed to an energy ceasefire. The American team knows very well what this means for us. We do not have major oil reserves, large oil export capacity, or dozens of oil refineries. In Ukraine, we have just one oil refinery, and it was badly damaged by Russian strikes long ago. We import large amounts of diesel and other oil products. And I am grateful to all our neighbors, especially Poland, for helping us with our energy needs. For us, the key issue is electricity. Russia started its campaign of strikes against our power generation and power grid years ago. And every winter, including this one, Russians try to make these attacks even more intense – we have power cuts every single day. For Russia, of course, gasoline shortages and burning oil refineries – because of our strikes in response – are painful. And these are not the same volumes that could be lost because of the crisis in Hormuz. But if Russia wants us to stop our long-range strikes against its oil refineries and oil exports, then Russia must stop its strikes against our energy system and critical infrastructure. This is only fair. From a speech at the Warsaw Security Forum. (1/3)

We never communicate what we will do next in our operations. Last night, we did not attack any energy facilities on the territory of Russia because President Trump said that there would be an energy ceasefire between Ukraine and Russia. We did not attack, while Russia attacked our gas stations, energy infrastructure, and other facilities. I think it was Putin’s answer to President Trump. And the message from Russia was very clear – they don't know anything about the energy ceasefire. It's a pity, because they always find reasons not to stop this war. Which is why I think we need more pressure on Russia. From an interview with Fox News.

Zelenskyy: "Because of the war in the Middle East, prices are rising. They're increasing because of the war in the Middle East, the blocking of Hormuz. Everyone understands it. If we want to speak with people fairly, if we want to be clear, if we want to speak with our nations openly, people have to hear reality. Don't play games with people."

Note: Vance’s remarks, mentioned here, did *not* go over well w/Kansas Methodists. Hamilton’s own bishop issued a statement defending the pastor and condemning the VP’s comments. Then 120 UMC pastors in Kansas did the same in a letter. Rad more: religionnews.com/2026/09/23/…
KARL: JD Vance really went after you. He called your views 'left wing radicalism dressed in the skin suit of our religion' and said they 'aren't Christianity.' ADAM HAMILTON: I thought it was really sad. It was pathetic. He doesn't know anything about me. When did we start attacking people's faith? I thought it was a sad statement that the VP would come here and attack the faith of the pastor of the largest church in the state of Kansas

Leadership. Character. Guts. Anna Politkovskaya said cowardice destroyed Russia. And I say it’s destroying America. Just look at most Republicans in Congress. The law firms. All of them. Zelensky is the leader of the free world. Calling it like it is.

Wishing His Holiness Pope Leo XIV @Pontifex a successful surgery and a swift, full recovery. Our thoughts and prayers are with him, and we hope he will soon be back in good health and strength. Ukraine is deeply grateful to His Holiness for his prayers and his strong, consistent calls for a dignified and durable peace.
Dear friends, during some recent medical examinations, the doctors found a small, localized nodule in my lung. It was detected at a very early stage and is well-localized. The doctors believe that it is best to intervene, so, following their advice, I have decided to undergo surgery to remove it. The operation is already scheduled to take place in the coming days. I thank you for your spiritual closeness and entrust myself to your prayers.

Trump should focus on getting Putin to stop killing Ukrainian civilians as a way to secure a ceasefire. Zelenskyy obviously is ready.

🇺🇦🇺🇸 Zelensky responded to Elon Musk's words that he "went too far" "These people cannot find the key to stop Putin. Because stopping Putin is more difficult than putting pressure on others. Because it is easier to talk about prices and link it to Ukraine. When everyone in the world understands that prices are rising because of the war in the Middle East. They are rising. They are rising because of the war in the Middle East, because of the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz, because of these reasons. Everyone understands this," Zelensky emphasized.

So what happened to the Lindsey Graham Sanctioning Russia and Iran Act? The entire goal was to choke off Putin’s money for the war by punishing countries who were evading the sanctions and buying Russian oil. Does that mean we’re sanctioning ourselves now? Whose side is Trump on?
Trump: "I have just concluded a highly successful discussion with President Vladimir Putin, of Russia, wherein it was agreed that Russia will immediately supply over 300,000 Tons of Diesel Fuel to the American and Global Marketplace, another 500,000 Tons during the month of November, and 1,000,000 Tons immediately thereafter. Additionally, based on the condition of their Diesel Refineries, Russia will then deliver, within a short period of time, 3,000,000 Tons of Diesel Fuel."
