One of the most dangerously humane things I have ever seen. What a genuinely kind man.
Clearly, those prestigious educations didn’t teach Petronella or her friends to do their own thinking.
The only thing that failed those women was themselves.

Speaking of abuse apologists...
Stop defending abusive women. Abuse has no gender. As a matter of fact, 70% of unidirectional IPV is female to male

To celebrate the birthday of William Shakespeare, I’m sharing a few lines from my most favorite sonnet, Sonnet 116. I’ve converted a few of my friends to its cause, and I’m hoping you’re next. Cheers!

Cant belive its been a year now! Remember how much havoc my reading at that lecture caused? Campaigns of lies, manipulation, harassment not only of me but other innocent people, countless media articles, tv & radio news... only for the UK Supreme Court to validate my concerns and then Abertay to conduct full-scale investigation concluding that my reading was more than appropriate for the lecture and course.
Fight for truth and justice is never easy, but I will never give up 👊

There's not worse than a mother using her child as an EMOTIONAL WEAPON,
apart from this! Pure evil.
DADS WATCH OUT FOR FAKE RAPE ALLEGATIONS: “I will say you are a rapist and you will never see your son again”. Mother tells dad she will make #FakeRape allegations to deny him access to his son. This is a very common allegation but it can be successfully dealt with. If you need help see fathers-4-justice.org/bookin… #FathersRights #ChildCustody #Fathers4Justice #F4J

40% of the victims. 91% of the prosecuted. Explain that???
Men are 40% of domestic abuse victims. Yet about 91% of those prosecuted for it are men.

It needs to be a criminal offence to fail to disclose evidence, with a nominated police officer and CPS/COPFS lawyer for each case, who takes responsibility & is the person who will be prosecuted for any failures.

Scotland recorded 56 homicide victims in 2025–26. Of those, 41 were men.
That's 73% of all victims, yet the Justice Secretary's specific gender-focused remarks concerned women killed by partners or ex-partners.
We examine the figures and ask why.

I remember watching the first series of Time from HMP Leyhill, and my mother telling me, through the facemask she and my stepfather had to wear on visits, that writer Jimmy McGovern had a stammer, and to watch a corresponding documentary about it. I would never see my stepfather again, he dying later that year, but I did receive a postcard from McGovern after reaching out about Time, which has become pretty much my most treasured possession
The compelling slab of Yorkshire granite that is Sean Bean in the first series has been replaced by @David_Tennant as central character in series three, and he's absolutely pitch perfect. The lads of fictional HMP Alderwick are also fantastic, surely all kicking off stellar acting careers. The stammer of one of the characters in the first episode was well handled, leading to unexpected complexities in the 'bad cop' prison officer
McGovern has a real genius for interweaving character's real lives with their institutional ones, even if he does often get to the point alarmingly quickly, even if the jump-shock of the third episode did seem a bit of a shock too far. I rarely watch the @BBC these days, due to various MSM-related reasons, but Auntie can still clearly do drama brilliantly when it wants to. The 'diversity' on display wasn't forced at all, being a pretty accurate reflection of the state of things inside
Brilliantly acted, craftsmanlike production, 'social issues' taking a back seat to great performances, series three of Time had me 'binge watching' as if that were a phrase I thought I'd ever use. Well done Tennant, McGovern, the BBC and everyone involved

Not a single news outlet has reviewed its coverage of Jason Arday, for accuracy or proportionality. Zero attempt has been made to conduct any inquiry into the media’s role in his death. Instead, the industry has moved into self-congratulatory mode. This isn’t just tone deaf, it betrays a systemic failure

In this case, the witnesses are trying to remember the force and manner at which someone was pulled by the arm in 2001. And the meaning or intention of that, in retrospect. And the nonverbal cues that may or may not have been present--such as smiles, body language, and long gazing--or the lack of these cues. And the internal cognitions of those involved, at the time, in 2001.
Can you remember how long you gazed at someone, or smiled at someone, from last month, or last year, or 20 years ago?
I never know the ground truth in legal cases, but I can say that reappraisals can happen over time, memories shift with those reappraisals, and memory traces in the upper cortex fade and are interfered with (by newer information) to a very large degree over years.
I encourage people to get down their memory documented the day of an alleged crime, or the day after at the very latest, and before any contamination of memory can start to occur.
I am not condoning any behavoir--even legal behavior--that falls below my moral standards (of then and now), but I am still concerned about legal decisions relating to behavior from decades ago.
