How dare people challenge when he lies - crazy right. He is a rabid hater who reposts many of the biggest most dishonest anti Semitic accounts nitter.cf/chalavyishmael/status/…

Do you mean when we post a story that seems sound which then gets CN'd for inaccuracy, they pile on?

Oasis cover of Mike Flowers Pops Wonderwall youtu.be/jxRjsNwTo44?is=Wjvg…
Name a song where you think the cover version is better than the original. Some covers become so iconic that many people forget they weren’t the first version of the song.

Who is “we” here? Who are you speaking of
Replying to @BriannaWu
Many republicans are accepting of trans people and many are Caitlyn Jenner fans. We draw the line with women’s sports and anything that endangers women. Like penises in women’s prison. If you are post op with bottom surgery we would welcome you in women’s spaces, not sports

Lovely to see 🙂
Some BBC Dad content. It's been awhile: My birthday; James and I hiking; Marion looking very grown-up; BBC Mom and I at a street festival. James is now 10; Marion is 13.

A lot of people are continuing to ask me about the poor conduct of the Irish team in not shaking hands and bowing during the Israeli national anthem. You are right on its face to criticise such conduct, but please note that those of us in Ireland who love Israel and the Jewish people, are not doing so. That is because we know what our team has been subjected to, it’s been a months-long frenzy trying to force a boycott of this match. When these calls towards the Football Association of Ireland failed, the mob turned on the players themselves; in recent weeks they have been at the other end of an intimidation campaign of a scale that outsiders simply cannot fathom. All pushed by our media establishment and select politicians while our government has remained silent throughout. As someone who has endured intimidation campaigns by Irish anti-Israel ideologues, I do not judge these men for how they responded to such viciousness. They were doing what they had to do for their own safety and wellbeing in this country. As the Israeli captain Dor Peretz said, outsiders can't understand the reality on the ground for Israelis. Similarly, outsiders cannot possibly understsnd the reality on the ground here and the depth of anti-Israel hysteria. It is frighteningly unhinged and near religious in fervour. I am intimately knowledgeable of the steep price to be paid in Ireland if you are publicly sympathetic to the Jewish homeland, and I do not at all judge young footballers being unwilling to pay it. The big picture is the Irish media and political establishment for leading a campaign of harassment against the players such that they were put in that position. That is who you should be criticising.

Quite
In a free country, you are entitled to believe you are a woman with a penis. But not to take it into a female changing room, nor to cheat your way into a female athletic competition, nor in any way to impose your private delusion on the rest of us. theguardian.com/politics/202…

Just back from Corfu - first time in Greece since 92. The coastline is lovely of course but the interior was surprisingly stunning - breathtaking with the tree covered hills, the valleys with the morning mists and villages clinging to the hillsides

He’s such a dick. i’m an atheist (raised catholic) and I’m beginning to think it might be a good thing for people to spare an hour or so going along to church - strengthen our communities again and make sure we have a focus point that people can turn to. Maybe it’s an age thing
Britain is not a Christian country. Britain is a secular country.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The United Kingdom has established churches in England and Scotland with formal ties to the state. The monarch is Supreme Governor of the Church of England and 26 of its bishops sit in the House of Lords by statute; it is not constitutionally secular. commonslibrary.parliament.uk/research-brief…

An "investigation into what it is like working in the health service if you believe biological sex is real... With one exception, every NHS worker... asked to remain anonymous for fear of losing their job or damaging their career." This is where political cowardice leads.
An NHS nurse whose male colleague continues to use the women’s changing room - despite the Supreme Court ruling, a new hospital policy and gender-neutral facilities being available. A hospital receptionist investigated for 18 months after saying trans women are not women. An ambulance worker accused of “harassing” trans people because of gender-critical posts on her personal social media. And a GP who fears the proposed Conversion Practices Bill could make parents and doctors afraid to explore explanations for a child’s gender distress other than that they are transgender - potentially putting that child on a path towards irreversible treatment. More NHS workers contacted me than I could possibly interview for this investigation into what it is like working in the health service if you believe biological sex is real. I couldn’t quote everyone. But everyone had a story. With one exception - Darlington nurse Bethany Hutchison - every NHS worker I interviewed asked to remain anonymous for fear of losing their job or damaging their career. These are medical professionals working in a health service where biological sex can be crucial to diagnosis, treatment and patient safety. Yet some are frightened even to say that a man cannot become a woman. My investigation for The Telegraph (gift link below)👇

1. Last year, one of our directors spoke at FiLiA. The conference had to report some TRAs to the police - there were comments about looking out for us & how handy it was that they could take us all out in one go. The venue was targeted & vandalised by Bash Back.
The @scotgov and @ScotGovFM are Scotland’s shame. Proclaiming opposition to male violence against women and girls, while funding organisations indifferent to violent threats against women and girls. Disgusting doesn’t come close to describing this.👇🧵
