In Zimbabwe you can meet someone with a machete or axe and even ask ask for directions, Zimbabwe is safe
In many parts of Zimbabwe 🇿🇼, you have other things to worry about, but your personal safety isn’t usually one of them. You can go about your day without constantly worrying about being robbed or shot.

Zimbabwe is rising, and the numbers now confirm it. As of October 2026, according to the IMF, Zimbabwe is ranked the 14th largest economy in Africa with a GDP of $65.92 billion. In the same year, our economy grew by 5%, with a projected 3.5% growth in 2027 despite the El Niño challenge. This is not by chance, it is the result of deliberate and disciplined economic management. This progress is a direct dividend of the fiscal discipline restored under the Second Republic. Under the visionary and steady leadership of President E.D. Mnangagwa, Zimbabwe has moved from deficits to surpluses, from volatility to stability, and from uncertainty to confidence. Budgetary order, a stable currency, controlled inflation and renewed investor confidence are now driving real, productive growth across all sectors. What we are witnessing is Vision 2030 in motion. Zimbabwe is no longer on the sidelines; we are now counted among Africa's top economies and we are outperforming many traditional giants. This is the Second Republic delivering results for its people, and with unity and continued hard work, we will keep building the prosperous Zimbabwe we all want.

Booming China-Zimbabwe trade tells a story of win-win partnership. 🇨🇳🤝🇿🇼 China Customs data shows bilateral trade surged to USD 5.01 billion in the first three quarters of 2026, marking a remarkable 51.6% year-on-year increase. Zimbabwe’s tobacco exports to China reached USD 860 million, up 9.3%. In an exciting milestone, Zimbabwean blueberries entered the Chinese market for the first time this July. China supports Zimbabwe in fully leveraging the zero-tariff policy to expand its exports. Deepened economic and trade cooperation continues to deliver shared prosperity for both nations. #ChinaZimbabweFriendship #BilateralTrade #WinWinCooperation

So you want to be a Politician ?? One thing election campaigns have taught me: popularity, visibility and electoral trust are not the same thing. In Brazil Bonsanaro dominated posters, headlines and social media and still failed to win the quiet argument inside a voter’s mind.

As a communications, PR and multimedia professional, I ask: What story are we telling and what evidence makes it believable? Video, radio, photography and social content should reveal leadership, not disguise its absence.

… Don’t confuse being seen with being trusted or being liked with being chosen. Build systems that listen, respond and follow through. The campaign should communicate leadership that people can already recognise in your actions. Politics is Hard Hat Area WORK HARD

CAUTION ON SUPER EL NINO NARRATIVE: Lest we dispirit ourselves, EL Nino means extreme weather conditions, which could mean extreme drought, or extreme rains as is happening in Harare just now. Considering that we are the most dammed country in Southern Africa, extreme rains, however spaced, could very well mean full water reservoirs and thus a good irrigated crop. The trouble with a hellfire vision of the El Niño is that farmers give up and do not prepare for the season. We should guard against that!!!!!!
