모두들 환호했다. 미래에서 소환한 미친 디자인. 엄청난 예약.
테슬라팀 모두가 반대했지만 일론의ㅜ뚝심으로 밀어서 만든 외골격(Exo-skeleton)트럭.
주행거리 800km를 기대하게 했지만 결국 500km대.
방탄유리를 자랑하려고 했지만 쇠공에 깨진 발표회. 총으로 뚫리지 않는 냉간압연강판으로 수많은 테스터들이 총질하게 만든 최초의 차량.
하지만 막상 양산에 들어가니 도로규제 때문에 판매 가능한 나라는 적고 가격도 많이 올라서 구매하려는 사람도, 구매가능한 나라의 사람도 너무나 줄어버린 트럭. 크기가 너무 커서 실용성은 사실 좋지 않다. 오히려 모델s,x가 더 팔리면 팔렸을 거라고 생각한다.
나는 차라리 싸이버트럭 디자인이 아닌 모델X 베이스의 트럭 디자인을 가진 실용성가득한 트럭이 나오는게 더 나았을 것.
근데, 뭔가 트럭류나 다른 모델(벤?)을 생각해서 싸이버트럭을 단종시키는게 아닌가 싶기도 하다.
