As much as I can't stand Seeler's comments, it's also hilarious that Couturier waited until the one night he finally scored a goal to publicly call the team out for being soft.
Most toxic locker room in hockey. Funny how that follows a certain coach from franchise to franchise

You mean to tell me Nick Seeler (circled below) who watched Foerster get his head bashed in to the ice and did NOTHING thinks that people aren't playing for the guy next to them? Interesting.
I thought Nick Seeler gave a great comment postgame amongst the Flyers struggles:
“We’ve certainly had some discussions in the locker room especially with our starts. Just focus levels, compete levels and playing for the crest. That’s what it's all about. It’s not about getting points. It's not about, you know, me, me, me, it's about the team and playing for each other and sacrificing for each other. It’s really not that difficult to understand. You play for the guy next to you. That’s what Flyers hockey is all about and when we can start figuring that out at the start of puck drop, we will be a better hockey team.”

Tocchet took every opportunity to rip Michkov last year about his off-season. 15 games in after MM had a stellar off-season and is 5th in the NHL in goals on a team that can’t score and Tocchet takes another shot at him.
No clue how the front office can do nothing about this.
Torts came in, cleaned up the room to change the culture & established an identity with this team playing fast, pressuring pucks to kill plays & turn it into offense.
That identity was thrown away by playing the most boring passive system & now the room is divided #FireTocchet

It’s easy to say “it’s not about getting points” when you’re a guy who has 0 goals and 4 assists (mostly secondary) on the year
Someone tell Seeler and all these bums to give their head a shake. You need to score points to win hockey games.

“Not about points” is pretty rich coming from someone on a team that has scored an embarrassing 1.93 goals per game to in 15 games.
Locker room divided in year 2 under Tocchet once again.
Whomever in the front office pushed for the Tocchet hire should be shown the door with him

Flyers have only won 7 of their last 25 games, scoring 50 goals.
A NHL team scoring 2.00 G/GP over that long of a stretch is embarrassing. This team has too much talent to be this inept offensively.
Enough with Tocchet Hockey & bring an offensive mind in to develop talent.
