In a stunning development, U.S. Senator @MarshaBlackburn (R-Tenn.) is blocking President Trump’s nomination of Sam Adkisson to serve as a U.S. district judge.
Sam served as a Senate Judiciary Committee special counsel for Chairman Grassley during the Kavanaugh confirmation, clerked for two leading conservative appellate judges, clerked on the Supreme Court, litigated for years at one of the best law firms, and currently serves as associate counsel to President Trump.
We could not get a more brilliant, conservative, bold, and fearless pick for the federal bench.
This is a grave mistake by Marsha Blackburn.

Folks, this migrant caravan knows that once, if any of them can get past the Border Patrol, they’ll be home free. @RealTomHoman, @SecMullinDHS, and @CBPCommissioner have no real plan for interior enforcement because they only believe in targeted enforcement.
People in the caravan do not view themselves as the worst of the worst, so why wouldn’t they come north?
NEW: DHS confirms to @FoxNews that Border Patrol is actively tracking a migrant caravan that originated in Honduras and is now moving through southern Mexico with hopes of reaching the US/Mexico border. DHS is warning the migrants that catch and release is over, and anyone caught crossing the border illegally will be arrested and deported. The caravan reportedly left the southern Mexican city of Tapachula, MX yesterday as it moves north, and is predominantly made up of Hondurans, Guatemalans, Salvadorans, Ecuadoreans, and Haitians.
DHS statement to FOX:
"The United States Border Patrol is actively tracking a migrant caravan which departed San Pedro Sula, Honduras on September 20, 2026. USBP is closely engaged with its international partners to monitor their movement and any additional developments. USBP reminds migrants that under the leadership of President Trump and Homeland Secretary Mullin, the border has remained closed and secured for the last 16 months. Migrants considering making the dangerous journey to our country should also be aware that the days of “catch and release” are over, and Biden’s disastrous open border policy has been SEALED SHUT. Anyone attempting to illegally enter the United States will be apprehended, prosecuted, and removed from the country."

Folks, here’s another masterclass in gaslighting….
He talks very tough, and even shows footage of Border Patrol doing interior enforcement, but that footage is from 16 months ago, when that work was actually happening.
He has since prohibited it. So he shows you the old footage while giving the talking points, but not actually delivering.
Beware of the constant gaslighting.
