The first Maruti 800 made in India had just 2.7% local content, while iPhones made in China had only 3.6% in 2009. By 2017, China had reached 25%, while India hit 20% in just 8 years. The ₹19,000 crore subsidy Bloomberg calls a waste of public funds has generated over 3.5 lakh jobs. @jayeshmatiyal debunks Bloomberg’s narrative on Indian manufacturing.

The more we manufacture or try to move up the value chain , you will see more such stupid videos coming up I have been to Shenzhen before the manufacturing boom took over China Their products were subpar and truly funny, for instance i bought a Sony speaker rip off called Tony and it literally blew up when we played a high bass song (Timbaland Bounce was the song btw) Just because we don’t have the expertise we should give up? What stupid logic is that By that logic no one should try in life and should just sit crying For the first time in India we are seeing entire new industries being built in India I feel extremely happy and proud to meet so many promoters who are going to take India to the next level May Mahadev bless them all And yes Bloomberg bbc reuters keep the negative articles coming, it means we are doing something right :)

One outrage I see is over the speculated NALCO proposal for an aluminium plant in Andhra Pradesh using bauxite from Odisha. We protest when plants go outside Odisha, and we also protest when they come to Odisha. Look at AP. They wholeheartedly welcome industries. But in Odisha, AC-room activists complain about the environment, water, and everything else. Either we welcome industries or go back to farming(with ହଳ ଲଙ୍ଗଳ). We cannot just keep complaining about everything.

"When HINDUS visit Amarnath in Pahalgam, heavy security is DEPLOYED. When we Kashmiri Muslims visit Ajmer Sharif, there is NO security needed. Why? Because Hindus DON’T kill." A Kashmiri Muslim Gen Z girl EXPOSES the hypocrisy of regional parties who once incited STONE-PELTING, asking who was ever safe as a Hindu in Kashmir before the 1990s.

Indians have a weird obsession with word "Educated leaders". First, what does educated means? Masters? MBA? Foreign degree? PhD? Exactly what? STEM? Economics? His job isn't to be expert rather to exert leadership outreach & get job done through technocrats.
Replying to @Ambarish_Das
That's a wrong perception. I don't care about congress or BJP or CJP. Educated leaders can change things. @NYCMayor is one of the living examples of it.

Modi Govt deals another lethal blow against drugs with Operation Trident. Our agencies launched a barrage of simultaneous crackdowns across 38 locations in Assam, Mizoram and Manipur on 23 October, smashing an international narco-cartel. The operation revealed ₹100 crore worth of hawala transactions, froze 1,424 bank accounts, attached properties worth ₹17.82 crore, seized 500 detonators and ₹12 lakh in cash, and led to the arrest of 18 people. The network trafficked narcotics across the borders of India, Myanmar and Bangladesh through the Death Triangle Corridor. The offensive attests to India’s Himalayan resolve to realise the mission of eradicating every drug network by 31 December 2029. India will hammer until the last nail is driven into the coffin of drug cartels. Heartiest congratulations to the anti-narcotics team comprising central agencies, and police forces of the three states.

India’s metro network has surged from 248 km in 2014 to 1,185+ km across 26 cities. Another 998 km is underway. Meanwhile, Bhubaneswar’s Metro remains on hold. Did political ego and a change of government cost Odisha its metro dream? Flyovers alone cannot solve tomorrow’s congestion. PM @narendramodi @narendramodi_in @PMOIndia @MoHUA_India , @CMO_Odisha @PrithivirajBJP @dr_kcmahapatra @ushapadhee1996 & @MohanMOdisha — please put politics aside. Reassess, approve and start Bhubaneswar Metro ASAP! This is one of the important request to @narendramodi @narendramodi_in @PMOIndia as he coming to Bhubaneswar. @AmitShah @AmitShahOffice @BJP4India Odisha deserves world-class public transport, not another decade of delays. #UrbanMobilityIndia2026 #BhubaneswarMetro #Odisha theprint.in/india/work-under…

Good @indianexpress piece tracing how India’s bullet train took a long detour. It started as a pure Shinkansen import and is now a hybrid with Japanese tracks and civil design +European signalling via a European-Indian JV+ Made in India trains( BEML’s B28, at 250 kmph) The costs have nearly doubled (realistically speak it is par for courase in most HSR projects outside PRC) to about ₹2 lakh crore. The first section is now due in Dec 2027, against an original 2022 deadline for the whole line. The friction had causes on both sides. Japan wanted to export the entire system. India wanted flexibility, cost control and strong elements of indigenisation. Japan’s E5 trainset was phased out, and the E10 won’t be available before 2034. On India’s side, land acquisition was a challenge Japanese experts continue to warn that mixing systems on one corridor carries safety risks India must address. That’s a fair concern. But after watching global supply chains weaponised since 2017-18, it would be daft to expect India to give up a chance to build its own capability in a greenfield project. Japan may be a benign partner. Self-reliance in critical technology still isn’t negotiable.
