almost all human written software was complete fucking garbage. ppl forget about this because the biggest and most competent and profitable tech companies in the world, by dint of capturing thousands of the worlds best minds, produced some software that was only somewhat garbage
So many websites of major companies just don't work. A human can't even create an account. The most detailed error message is "400 Bad Request". Forget agents, AI, whatever, how the fuck does nothing work?

it's interesting when you make a tool and point claude at it, it immediately sees the benefits and uses it. as opposed to, say, your close personal friends.

Recipe blogger: tries to make money by creating free recipes - adds in a story that helps them rank in SEO with keywords, monetize with ads, and establish copyright Normal recipe user: uses the “skip to recipe button”, helps the blogger get paid, but bypasses the heart warming family story that’s 10 pages deep Engineer: skips past blogger’s free labor to create a cooking index card. still doesn’t understand what “fold” means

What I most desire doesn’t exist on the market yet: a coding agent model, but it’s only been trained on code reviews by Eastern Europeans.

There’s like maybe a maximum of 8 jobs where I understand what the job is. Shopkeeper. Farmer. Teacher of some kind. Priest. Novelist. Journalist. Private detective. Chef. That’s it. What is a data engineer. I don’t know.

Don’t donate your plasma. It’s a big scam and they’re just using it to make TVs.

I still hold Windows 2000 was the pinnacle of UI design. Crisp, clean, simple.
Within 5 years I predict a UI trend emphasizing sharp corners, no animation whatsoever, and sub-millisecond snappiness of all controls
