at the @DigitalChamber Blockchain Summit alongside Congressmen, regulators, and builders to explore the future of crypto in the USA 🇺🇸

Huge thanks to everyone who joined us for the #DCBlockchain Summit. You showed up, engaged, and made this event what it was. The conversations throughout these two days were exactly what this industry needed right now.

A surprisingly large portion of the agenda was allocated towards the topic of international crypto exchanges being welcomed into the USA market. We heard from crypto titans like @cz_binance and @justinsuntron that have been pushing for sensible regulations that not only protect retail investors but also enable USA investors to tap into the massive liquidity that remains restricted. It's clear that progress is being made in this regard, but several hurdles remain including effective KYC/AML and licenses. In the meantime, the US-based entities of large international crypto exchanges like @BinanceUS are ramping up their efforts to gain market share from incumbents like Coinbase and Kraken.
IoTeX remains at the forefront of crypto policy and is a proud member of the @DigitalChamber. As a founding members of the AI & Quantum Working Group and contributors to the Decentralization Working Group, IoTeX will have the opportunity to shape the future of crypto and AI regulation in the United States. Bringing Real-World AI to the masses requires decentralization and verification, and @iotex_io is proud to work with regulators and builders alike to make that happen!

IoTeX Mainnet v2.3.4 Upgrade Notice
The IoTeX mainnet will undergo an upgrade to version v2.3.4.
Important: All nodes are strongly recommended to upgrade to this release, to improve network security.
Note:
The mainnet config now includes a default blacklist for enhanced security. You only need to restart your node with the new v2.3.4 image.
Key Features and Enhancements：
v2.3.4 introduces a default blacklist configuration to improve network security. This blacklist contains a list of malicious or problematic EOA (Externally Owned Account) addresses that will be filtered by the node.

Update on the ioTube Bridge security incident.
We have completed our initial investigation and identified two categories of affected assets:
1/ Non-IOTX bridge reserve assets — We have engaged multiple top-tier blockchain security firms and are actively working with law enforcement to trace and recover these funds. The attacker's full on-chain trail has been mapped.
2/ IOTX tokens (minted via compromised bridge) — The vast majority of these tokens are already confirmed frozen and immovable. Between 80-90% are locked on chains with zero liquidity and no exit path — they cannot be sold and will exert zero market sell pressure. For the remaining portion, we are actively coordinating with exchanges and trading platforms to freeze those assets as well.
Chain restart is in final testing and will resume shortly.
A detailed incident report and recovery plan will follow. We will continue to share transparent updates as the situation progresses.
