Woke is when you have things that don't belong in a game turned into ideological props to push an agenda.
BG3 had characters who were fully fleshed out and happened to be gay or whatever... and weren't some kind of cringe commentary on contemporary identity politics.
Same with characters like Judy in CP2077. She is a lesbian, but that's only on the basis of her having a lot of lore and details in the story.
On top of that, the inclusion of these characters didn't degrade the game at all but rather enriched the game world
On Veilguard, it was used as a wedge to push ideological talking points, and the rest of the game suffered from narrative safetyism that made the story boring.
