Bob Ross is actually a perfect example to show why art lovers are unimpressed by AI art. Bob Ross is not famous for his paintings. He is famous for his videos in which he showed *how* he made his paintings. The process matters!
Thank you @80Level! More eyes = more animated horror!!
.@mbirdini has released an incredible Blender-made animated horror short that explores the fears of early parenthood.

yes Tim but decades later we're still talking about their games and how much they influenced design. some people create art to make a difference. others do to earn profit. and btw you laid off 1000 people this year, so you don't own that moral highground either.

For AI fucking data centers. Destroying the planet so people can ask a chatbot the fucking weather. Or to write a fucking email. Or to steal our children's future. Or so an AI agent can hack your bank account.
What a horrific disgrace to our planet.
Google illegally cleared an estimated 250,000 trees across 330 hectares of forest in Muhos, northern Finland, to prepare for a new AI data center before completing mandatory environmental impact assessments
And another 150,000 trees felled at Otanmäki

Shutting down Blue Sky was one of the stupidest things Disney has done in this century.
LOL, five of the top 10 movies on Netflix right now are ICE AGE titles recently licensed from Disney. netflix.com/tudum/top10

Really excellent “camera” movement, from the dolley zoom to the erratic handheld when running, just very well animated.

Yep! I fell in love with grease pencil on this project. Sets and props are 3D, characters are 2D! Here’s a short workflow vid I made a bit ago
I made an animated horror short! It's called Monitor. I did everything myself (except the awesome music and sound). No AI. Hope you enjoy!
I spent a year and a half making this. Taught myself Blender to do it. At no point did I consider using gen AI to speed up my workflow. Because the end product is not the point. Art is about the process. I learned a lot. Time well spent
