Believed to be the place Aurangzeb's army camped before the fall of Golconda. AKA Lal Bahadur Stadium; home to Hyderabad Cricket Assoc before the Uppal stadium. Remember seeing my first Test match back in the late 80s. Most Hyderabadis still call it Fateh Maidan. Nice nugget! 👏🏽
Going to start an #archivefunfacts series. Nehru writes to JN Chaudhury objecting to a certain 'Fateh Maidan' changed to his (Nehru's) name - "more specially I dislike my name being attached in this way" - also, does anyone know where this Fateh Maidan is? 🤔

Also note that in this area Harishchandrapur-II, Islam is the majority religion (~74%) and facing no threat from Christianity(~0.8%). But since BJP has come to power, Bengal's majority Hinduism is facing acute danger of extinction from Christianity. There is repeated attack on the tiny Christian population of this state. So my qtn is why Hinduism falls so weak wherever BJP comes into power?

The BJP will ensure that every single infiltrator is removed from the voter list and driven out of the country."

Compromised Prime Minister 🔥
Mr Modi, stop lying to this nation.
You became PM because of foreign help. You remain PM because of foreign help.
Your financial system is fully controlled and supported by foreigners. Foreign social media fully backs you.
I challenge you to an open debate about this. Any stage, any time. Come if you have the guts.
You won't dare, because you are terrified of what I know about you.

A new form of protest messaging has become visible on Delhi’s streets, with students, Congress workers and INDIA bloc supporters using spray paint to put political slogans on walls, roadside dividers, hoardings and bus stops. During the November 1 INDIA bloc rally, protesters were seen writing messages such as “Ban RSS”, “Modi must go” and demanding the resignations of Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. The slogans reflect protesters’ anger over electoral issues and the central government, as public spaces become platforms for political expression.

The people of Telangana will never forgive you for this. Rahul ji had promised six guarantees. Not even one guarantee has been fulfilled. Modi ji had said that terrorism would be eliminated. Through surgical strikes, airstrikes and Operation Sindoor, did we take action against terrorism or not?...We once again say that before December 31, 2029, we will eliminate drugs from this country and make India drug-free...Can the Congress party stop the corruption taking place in Telangana and the conspiracy to sell the state? Can Owaisi stop it? Can the BRS stop it? No. Only the Bharatiya Janata Party, under the leadership of Modi ji, can stop it."
