그리고 Code Mode라고,, 모든 MCP 서버가 기본으로 Code Mode를 쓰는데 이게 MCP 서버를 수천개 붙여도 컨텍스트가 크게 늘지 않아요.
백그라운드 서브에이전트 성능도 괜찮고, 주요한 기능들 대부분을 플러그인으로 만들었기 때문에 잘 관리됩니다요.

Two features stand out: Code Mode and background agents.
Code Mode lets the agent handle multiple tool calls in one go, making the workflow faster and smoother.
Background work is even crazier. You can delegate tasks to sub-agents running on different models while you keep building.

开源 AI 编程工具 OpenCode 2.0 正式亮相，此前已在 7 月开启公测。这次升级的一大变化是 Code Mode，可以把 MCP 服务和 OpenAPI 接口转成 JavaScript 函数，让 Agent 在一段脚本中串联多个工具。比如先从 GitHub 批量读取 Bug，再逐条创建 Linear 任务，不用每处理一条数据就让模型重新发起调用。所有 MCP 服务默认启用 Code Mode，也能减少工具定义占用的上下文。
OpenCode 还重写了底层架构。终端、网页和桌面客户端现在共享同一个本地后台服务，可以访问同一批会话。子 Agent 和 Shell 命令也能在后台运行，例如让一个 Agent 审查代码，主 Agent 继续修改文件，同时执行测试和构建。团队还将大量内部功能做成插件，目前已超过 80 个，支持运行时热加载，Agent 可以为自己编写插件并立即使用。
此外，OpenCode 推出了可嵌入其他应用的 SDK。Cloudflare 已宣布通过实验性接口支持 OpenCode 2.0，让开发者能在 Durable Objects 中运行同一套 Agent 引擎，并保存会话、恢复中断的任务。
不过，这次重构也带来了兼容性问题。1.x 插件需要改写，旧版 Server API 也需要适配。GitHub 上有 issue 指出，Code Mode 调用耗时较长的插件时缺少超时限制，可能让会话长时间处于等待状态，只能手动中断。
Seems worth upgrading to OpenCode 2.0 mainly for background agents. Have one review code while you keep working, run tests without waiting, and chain tool calls together. Pretty useful if you do a lot in parallel. Just gotta migrate old plugins/API integrations. I still love OMP tho

OpenCode 2.0 is out!!
The two best parts are Code Mode and background work.
Code Mode lets the agent do a bunch of tool steps in one go instead of one at a time. It's faster, and you can plug in tons of tools without it getting confused.
With background work, the agent can hand tasks to sub-agents running in the background, even ones on a different model, while you keep going.
To upgrade, run 'opencode upgrade --major'.
