HUGE: More than 50 lawmakers from BOTH parties are telling CMS to scrap a proposed rule that could slow down better cancer treatments.
Some patients can now get a quick shot in minutes instead of sitting for HOURS in an IV chair.
This rule would push those improved treatments into Medicare price negotiations almost as soon as the FDA approves them.
The lawmakers say that kills the incentive to build them, and that CMS actuaries haven't shown it would save taxpayers anything.
It all comes out of Joe Biden's Inflation Reduction Act.
Cancer patients shouldn't pay the price for a Biden law.

Just a note. We welcomed you into our country and freed you from a terrorist state and refugee camps. You came into our country with freedom that you had never experienced.
Many of you brought your culture with you and that is good. Many of you also have not embraced our country, not tried to join our melting pot, not learned our language and have simply refused to assimilate.
Instead, you have retreaded into your cultural enclave and recently have stolen from our government and country and been vocal about how much you loathe our country and way of life.

NEW: Federal agents raided Rep. Ilhan Omar’s DC-area home this morning as part of an ongoing criminal investigation.
Sources say the probe focuses on alleged fraud in immigration paperwork her late father filed when she was a child.
Omar claims she became a U.S. citizen in 2000 at age 17 through her father’s naturalization. Reports note her Minnesota legislative bio previously listed her date of birth to be Oct 4, 1981, that means she was not a minor and two years beyond what would be allowed for naturalization through her father.
Her staff asked the Legislative Reference Library to change it to 1982 in 2019. The library updated the date without requiring a birth certificate or naturalization record.
If she wasn’t a minor at the time, her claim to have obtained citizenship through her father may not hold up. If the evidence proves she committed fraud and is not a U.S. citizen, she should be prosecuted and deported.
