As for "getting my foot in the door"--I simply cannot stand when people tell me to "be on someone's show". It doens't work that way. I never beg or ask--or honestly, really care if I'm invited. I wait for invitations. If I get one, I consider it. If not, I don't care. I would never want to be a member of a club that didn't want me. :)

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Helsinki and BTCHEL. Saw some old friends and made new ones, loved the European Bitcoin vibe, the floating sauna, Löyly sauna, etc. As I combined it with the @propfreedom conference in Bodrum, Turkey the week before, and got to meet @SakariPuisto , it was one of my favorite trips ever. Thank you. It's important to have balls and integrity in times like this. I've been telling them similar things for probably over 10 years by now. At first I thought they were just too busy and understaffed and had meager financial resources. But eventually I realized I was just a pest to them and they for some reason did this at least somewhat intentionally, which is despicable IMO. nb @HeroicLife @scholarium_at @saifedean @jeffreytucker
Hoppe also tried the gentle, polite way, with a private memo addressing what appeared to be structural problems with the MI board etc., but when that was also ignored, and after other slights, he went public. Not that it will do much good but sometimes one needs to take a public stand.

As a resident of an economy, I live daily inside a massive experiment proving that it does work pretty much as supply and demand says.
So do you live inside it.
São Paulo is an enormous city. It exhausts me to drive across it.
Yet somehow every day when you go to get a morning coffee, there it is.
When you want to buy a new shirt, there it is.
If you had the misfortune to live in a country that so strongly denies market forces that it makes them illegal, such as North Korea or the old Soviet Union, this would not be the case.
The Soviets made endless jokes about it not being the case.

Los austriacos serios denunciaron desde el principio que lo que estaba haciendo Milei estaba muy lejos de lo que plantea la escuela austriaca (Hoppe, Guido Hülsmann, @ograu90, @AlessandroFusi9, @KrisMoustHansen, @saifedean, @rothbard_brasil, @propfreedom, etc). Basta con ver quienes conformaban el equipo económico para saber que era partida de neokeynesianos y monetaristas.
Repudio total los propagandistas “libertarios” que se vendieron a Milei y que al día de hoy lo siguen defendiendo. Son peores que prostitutas, al menos las prostitutas son honestas.

Está pasando lo que tenía que pasar pasar: el fraude de Milei que libertarios coherentes como Hans Hoppe, Oscar Grau, Saifedean Ammous, Kristoffer Hansen, Alessandro Fusillo y muchos otros llevamos años denunciando destroza la economía mediante intervencionismo mientras se dice libertario, y ahora es culpa del libertarismo. Milei es una desgracia que no tiene nada que ver con la Escuela Austriaca ni con el libertarismo.
@ograu90 escribió muchos artículos criticándolo desde 2023.
@saifedean ha redactado extensos tweets exponíendolo y destrozándolo.
Hans-Hermann Hoppe (su supuesto "norte" y el alumno mas importante de Murray Rothbard) lo destrozó en la PFS 2024, y de nuevo en la AERC 2025 y la PFS 2026, y se puede encontrar en twitter un correo suyo de meses antes donde menciona que es un desastre.
@KrisMoustHansen lo destrozó en la PFS 2025 y también en otro ensayo.
@AlessandroFusi9 tiene un debate con Philipp Bagus destruyendo a Milei y también múltiples tweets.
Guido Hülsmann también tiene una serie de artículos en los que refuta la absurda idea de que el cierre del BCRA causaría una hiperinflación.
Personalmente llevo denunciando su política exterior desde 2024 y su política económica desde 2025, cuando me informé de forma más completa de todo lo que estaba haciendo. Basta con buscar mis tweets o una entrada que hice al respecto en el blog de la PFS. También hay diras críticas en la cuenta de @marisa23jp y muchos otros libertarios coherentes.
Milei ha hecho un gran daño a nuestra reputación como austrolibertarios y es importante hacer notar que este nunca tuvo algo que ver con nuestras ideas y que cualquier austrolibertario coherente que se haya pronunciado sobre él ha sido para denunciarlo y exponerlo como el fraude que es. Y no, no nos desligamos de él porque vimos que fracasó: lo denunciamos desde mucho antes porque vimos el fraude que era y sabíamos que iba a fracasar, gracias precisamente a las herramientas de la Escuela Austriaca de Economía, de la que Milei no sabe nada, a pesar de lo que predica.
