There was a day your mother picked you up for the last time. Neither of you knew it. When you were small, she carried you thousands of times. Then it was hundreds, then a handful, and then one ordinary afternoon she set you down and never picked you up again. It happened to both of you, and neither of you can remember the day. If she had known, she would have held on a little longer. Every ordinary thing you share with someone you love has a final count. It is true of the phone calls, the Sunday dinners, and the hugs at the front door. The number is already set, and nobody ever gets to see it. A last time feels exactly like every other time. Nothing about the moment changes. Everything after it does. So right now, you are living through moments whose meaning has not been decided yet. Your phone holds years of photos. The cloud keeps every message you have ever sent, and the machines being built now are learning to recall every conversation you have had. They are getting better at predicting what you will buy, what you will watch, and what you will say next. They still cannot show you the count. A machine can already learn someone’s voice and have it say things they never said. It still cannot give you back the last thing they actually said to you. A machine can store a moment, but only you can be there for it. Somewhere ahead of you is the last time your dad calls just to talk, the last time your kid asks you to stay until they fall asleep, and the last time everyone you love fits in one room. You are on someone else’s count too. There will be a last time your kid runs to meet you when you get home, and neither of you will know it. Something ordinary in your life is happening for the last time right now, and it looks like nothing. Grief always arrives late. It waits until something is gone before it lets you feel what it was worth. Paying attention is the only way to feel it on time.

I like quiet people. Smart as fuck. Zero show-off. No performance. No drama. Just a calm vibe. Who aren't loud just to be noticed. Who read deep books. Tolstoy, Dostoevsky, Nietzsche. Who can sit through a 2-hour documentary about bees and aliens and octopuses and genuinely enjoy it. They find beauty in the ordinary things. Think deeply. Talk less, understand more. The ones who stay low-key and private in a world obsessed with being "seen". These are my people.

The year is 2035. AI has taken over the internet. Nothing online is real anymore. Every video, every influencer, every girlfriend, every news story is fake. So everyone logged off. Digital work was obliterated and automated. The most valualbe skills are now cooking, fixing a truck, farming and fixing things with your hands. You moved to the land with your wife and 5 close couples. Farmers and mechanics are the new millionaires. Dinner parties are the new social media. People write letters again. Your kids grow up barefoot, climbing trees and eating steak and eggs instead of scrolling. News? the only news is your 6th kid on the way. Turns out AI didn’t destroy humanity. It just made the internet so fake that we finally went back outside.

Cowards who choose to leave this country during its time of greatest crisis should have their citizenships revoked. The Philippines is our home. Our only home. If you're satisfied with being a filthy alien in some foreign land, then go and never claim this is home for you again.

One of the ugliest truths about life is, every choice we make kills another version of ourselves. Get married, and you'll eventually miss the freedom you had alone. Stay single, and there will be nights when you wonder what it would've been like to build a life with someone. Have children, and you'll miss parts of the life you never had before them. Don't have children, and you may spend years wondering about the family you never created. There is no perfect path and there is no decision that leaves you with everything. The life you didn't choose will always look better from a distance because you never had to pay its price. Stop searching for a choice you won't regret, it doesn't exist. choose your life, accept what it costs, and live with the consequences.

People who are highly aware become unsociable. Crowds drain them. Noise overwhelms them. Small talk feels like work. They chill different. A cozy room. Two people they trust. Good food. Music. Conversations that actually mean something. That’s where they feel alive. Depth over noise. Because for them... peace feels like home.

after a certain age, your parents slowly become your children. they ask simple questions, repeat stories, depend on your patience the way you once depended on theirs. very few understand this role reversal

I'm convinced all these recent shootings are a coordinated false flag operation by intel agencies from the USA and the Philippines. 2+ decades of my life and I have never heard of students shooting up a school 'til now when there's discontent around the presidency.

Women will never understand the simple joy men get from just existing. A man can arrive in a new city, walk around for hours, explore random streets, observe people, and be completely fucking content. Then a woman joins. Now there needs to be an agenda. Cafe. Restaurant. Shopping. Tourist spot. Photos. Next location. Something always has to be happening. Meanwhile, a man can grab a good drink, sit in the town square for three hours, watch the world move around him, and think: "Yeah. This is f*cking nice." No itinerary. No entertainment. No destination. Just existing without needing existence to entertain you. Being a man is peaceful.

Diesel shortages lead to famine. Famine leads to food riots. Food riots lead to martial law. Martial law leads to capital controls. Capital controls lead to bank runs. Bank runs lead to bail-ins. Bail-ins lead to currency collapse. Currency collapse leads to sovereign default. Sovereign default leads to a global margin call. And a global margin call leads to the end of everything you thought was "money." It all starts with one empty fuel tank.
