Replying to @medsee_ai
@medsee_ai is joining @centai_health. i started it with a question: could AI help radiologists see more in clinical images? at Cent, we get to take that work into a much bigger problem: finding small signals before people feel sick. lots to build alongside amazing founders @shashanknd, @arpitgarg047 and @akhandelwal and a team already making preventive healthcare real at scale. since joining Cent, we’ve been processing nearly 2 TB of clinical imaging data every week. it’s been pretty wild to see Medsee's scale here.
Today we’re announcing Cent's $15M Series A, co-led by @BlumeVentures and @spc , and our acquisition of AI radiology platform Medsee. When you look at how healthcare works in India, almost all of it is organised around the moment someone falls ill. Hospitals, doctors and insurance are all paid to treat, and very little of the system is built to look for disease in people who feel well. It’s a big reason most cancers here are still found at stage 3 or 4. We started Cent to work on the other side of that problem. Over the last year, about 10,000 people have come to us without symptoms. 1 in 4 had something worth acting on, and 1 in 40 needed to see a doctor right away. Very few of them had any reason to suspect it. Finding disease this early, for millions of people, takes technology built for the purpose. This round lets us invest more deeply in our own hardware, AI and clinical research, and Medsee brings a strong AI reporting team into that work. Our goal is 10 million scans by 2035, and through them, helping save 1 million lives. Thank you to @BKartRed , @prateekmehta42 , Arun Sarin, @snsf , @sharathk83 , @krishna_srd and @AprameyaRadhaK for backing us, and to our team and every member who has trusted us with their health. $52M seed round. 15M+ users. But this is what we're most proud of yet. Introducing Drama 3: the most emotive and controllable TTS model in the world And yes, it's open-weight. You can now control how even a single word should sound, change its tone, and shift your voice mid-sentence. Uncle Roger was impressed too. The $200 Claude Code sub is one of the best values in software right now. Genuinely insane how much work you can get done without hitting limits.

As CEO of Product Hunt, I see hundreds of launches a week. One trait separates winners from losers. Every few months, new models come out. Some products become better, effortlessly. Some don't improve, or become irrelevant. This property needs a name. I'm calling it Buoyancy. Buoyant startups rise with model improvements the way a boat rises with the tide. Anti-buoyant startups come in two flavors: over-scaffolded (which hinders the new, smarter models) and too thin - which makes them redundant when models improve. To be buoyant, you need a "hull" - usually proprietary data, a vertical-specific harness, network effects, or distribution advantage. This hull keeps you buoyant as models improve. Hulls are the new moats. My number one advice to startups in 2026: Be buoyant. Find your hull. (Full essay on my blog)

clear concise facts.
After 2,000 investments at Antler, these are the seven harsh truths I'd want every founder to hear before they start: 1. Nobody hands you customers, hires or investors. You have to go and win each one. 2. "I'll fail and learn from it" is an expensive plan. A job teaches you the same lessons on someone else's money. 3. The first two to three years take nearly all your waking hours. When I co-founded Zalora, and again with Antler, I told friends and family I'd be off the grid. 4. Until you've tried to sell it, you don't know if anyone wants it. Bill Gates and Paul Allen pitched their first product before they'd written a line of it. 5. Some very talented teams end up in trouble because both founders are great engineers and neither can sell. 6. You will hit walls, usually more than once. SpaceX lost three rockets before its first successful launch. 7. Most startups fail for ordinary reasons: the wrong team, the wrong business model, or poor management. The upside is that none of this is fixed. You can get better at every item on this list. Which one did you learn the hard way?
